I really, really wanted to love this place. I was so looking forward to eating here, especially given all the rave reviews. One of my daughters has lived in Bosnia for a few years and my husband and I visited Bosnia in 2016 and absolutely...loved it there. We are big fans of the food of that region. We arrived about a half hour before closing on a Saturday and the restaurant had no problem serving us. There was parking right out front and the place definitely has character. Very quaint, very clean and the presentation of the meal was absolutely gorgeous. Our waiter was nice but not too interested in visiting with us. Which is fine, we didn't pay for entertainment and I figured with the late hour staff may have been tired and ready to go home. I just couldn't help being a bit disappointed since I was really interested in hearing about Bosnia. The menu was more limited than I expected, and the restaurant picks your side dish depending on what is available which I found a little strange, but ok. Food came out quickly and again, looked great. Sadly, to be honest, it just didn't taste good and was partially cold. The only thing I liked was the fresh fruit on the side and the bread. My husband's and my salad were drenched in so much vinegar, they were inedible. (And I love vinaigrette, I grew up in Europe). I have never had a salad anywhere with dressing that strong. My stew consisted basically of only meat cubes and was somewhat bland. The meat was soft but lacked flavor. We seriously considered sending back our salad and if it had been earlier in the day, I think we would have. Maybe we just came on an off night? It's such a cute place, but I just can't recommend it. We paid way too much for what we received.More

Just had a take out order per the online menu. Upon reviewing the bill there was a difference of $18 more. The spinach dish was very good, but the lamp was fatty and tough. When we informed the owner he hung up on us. Too...bad because we had a good experience in the past, but will never eat there again.More

We never had Bosnian food before but we love lamb. We were in Astoria for 3 days and I made reservations with them over the phone. The restaurant was intimate, white tablecloths, pretty plants and flowers on the tables. It felt like we were in...Europe. The server was very nice and even helped us when picking out some wine to go with our meal which of course it was the roasted lamb. We pick the platter for 2. It came with a nice salad with a special dressing made with lemon and vegetable oil. It was delicious. There was a cabbage roll and marinated veggies and a beautiful assortment of fresh fruits. The herbs & species they used enhanced the roasted lamb and also the veggies. We truly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely go again we we are in Astoria. This restaurant is must do when you visit AstoriaMore

Drina daisy is a unique restaurant serving authentic Bosnian food. the Afvjar appetizer of fire-roasted red peppers was excellent. The filo dough pitas were large and delicious. my wife loved the lamb more than I did. the Croatian wines were tasty as well

We had our first meal here this past Friday and are still talking about the excellent meal and service. We tried food we have never experienced before, and it did not disappoint at all. Sometimes it's hard to try new things when old favorite places...beckon; however, we now have a new favorite in Drina Daisy and cannot wait to go back and try another delicious meal. The Bosnian coffee we finished with was a real treat, especially for those folks who love strong coffees served in a way much different than one normally experiences.More

I enjoyed the dining experience. I had never had Bosnian food before. I'm glad I tried it. The stewed meat was plentiful and mildly spiced, but ultimately it wasn't my cup of tea.

The novelty of a Bosnian Restaurant in Astoria, Oregon drew us in. The food did not disappoint. They don't include a lot of things on the menu. What they do include is dynamite. From adults to kids, everyone was satisfied. The stuffed cabbage was divine....Since we live in Oregon, we'll be back.More
