Great view from the table overlooking the city of Astoria and/or the river. Looking around inside was basic with chalkboards highlighting the beers and ciders of the day. This restaurant sits on an old cannery pier; one lane pier to get out to the restaurant and back by automobile or walking. Be cautious. The food was very good; especially the... More

This was our second visit to the Rogue Ales Public house. Was there in 2013 and it is just as good as then. Just being at the old Bumble Bee tuna canning pier was interesting. The Rogue beer was great. 7Hop is our favorite. But we like all Rogue beers. The halibut fish'n chips were great. My wife had the... More

Like the title says, so what's not to like? We were staying at the Comfort Suites and strolled down the boardwalk for dinner, drinks and Monday Night Football. We got all 3. Their beer speaks for itself and they had plenty on tap. Typically, public houses have decent burgers, fish and chips, and so on. However, I felt Rogue was... More

First, the location is really nice on Pier 39 out over the water. It's worth a stop just for the ambience of the location. However this isn't a gourmet restaurant by any means. It's more of a bar that sells pub food. It's decent with an extensive beer menu. You won't go hungry, but next week you won't remember what... More

The Public House is in a nice spot overlooking the Columbia River - reason enough to go. The beers are varied & there are many pub style dishes to choose from. The service is really spotty - just depends on your waiter. Often, I've just been ignored there for maybe 20 minutes or more. The smartest bet if you are... More

Stopped in here for lunch while on vacation. The whole location is so Rogue. The food was great and service friendly. The Habinaro Cheese Curds with Jelly were fantastic. The Tacos were perfect and you cant go wrong with Fish & Chips. It was all delicious. We really enjoyed our meal. The building & Cannery Museum are fun to walk... More

I was a bit skeptical coming here. I have enjoyed a few Rogue beers over the years, so that wasn't the problem. Rogue has become a pretty huge "micro" brewery and I worried the spot would be too commercialized. Well, it is a little...but it's still great fun. We had very friendly service and the beer selection was amazing. We... More

We visited Rogue twice during our stay and enjoyed both visits. The food is pub food but a variety and good. They have a large selection of beer, if that is what interests you and were proud to list their local beers. The staff was friendly and efficient. The window views of the river and bridge are nice.

Nice location in an old cannery. Good food and beer but very expensive. $6.25 a beer. Way over the going rate in the area.
