Had an assortment of pastries, and it was all great. The cherry fritter was quite nice; except that I, personally, would've preferred using bing cherries instead of the cherries that they used (kinda like the maraschino cherries). If they did make that change, I would be in fritter heaven!

We were driving out to the Eagle sanctuary and stumbled on the bakery. The cookies were good and we bought a rhubarb pie which we really enjoyed. The rye bread was good too.

Great small town atmosphere. Cookies here are amazing with Florentines dipped in chocolate and divinity cookies that are light and crisp. The cardamon rolls are the best I have ever eaten. Wonderful pastry stop. Pass on the coffee.

We bought a large selection of assorted pastries which they put in a great box. Had to wait a while as there was a line which made us think that perhaps this would be great place to stop however I found everything just a bit too sweet. Admittedly, I don't have a great sweet tooth but others, while they enjoyed... More

We needed a birthday cake for my mother in law as it was her 70th birthday and decided to order one from the Home Bakery. I originally wanted one from Costco but they were not able to take an order over the phone and I live too far to drive in for the order. I phoned in the order to... More

Classic doughnuts and pastries that are locally made. Rich history and flavor in every bite. Purchased 2 dozen doughnuts for my coworkers and they didn't last very long.

Small basic place. Lots of pastries and cookies. Nothing notable. Had the apple turnover and raspberry Danish. Turnover could've used more filling and the Danish was tasty. Place was dirty. The floor and tables. They would do well to have a barista or someone trained to make coffees and such. Would not recommend.

Eating AHB Finnish Cinnamon toast for 50 years. Can't have coffee without it. Stop here every chance we get.

This is such a great place to get donuts, cookies, danishes and of course breads! It's all made there, and they've been doing it a long time. They are closed on Sundays, Mondays and at 5:00 the rest of the week. It is on the East side of town, going away from the beach. Not the best part of town,... More

This is a MUST stop when coming through Astoria. They have the best pastries/cookies ever. My favorite is the chocolate haystacks so much that we just ordered 3 dozen of them to take home with us! And they are not expensive either! If you get the chance stop on in!
