First, to the staff, Enza and her daughter…you truly were apart of something we will never forget. Thank you. I have been visiting Enza’s for many years. I met my now current fiancé on a blind date a little over four (4) years ago here...and knew that this was the place I wanted to ask for her hand in marriage. OK – A bit of honesty…because of Covid my original plans were impossible, but this turned out better than I could have imagined. It was perfect! After about two (2) weeks of phone calls and text with the owner, Enza, we were able to create a menu and wine list that met my budget. The day before the event Enza and our waitress met with me at the restaurant to walk through and ensure everything was well orchestrated. My bride to be was speechless. Our friends were very impressed with the service and the food. Truly an amazing night for us. In total I believe we had 28 very special people with us…this was a night we will never forget. It’s so rare nowadays in Jacksonville, or anywhere, to find a family owned restaurants that truly strives to provide such a great experience. Everyone working that night played a role and they did an outstanding job. Thank you!More

Our dear friends treated us to a fine dinner experience at Enzas this month. We had Veal Picatta and they ordered the Lobster Pasta. Our meal was fantastic. The server was delightful, and attentive. Enza came to speak to us, she was so kind and...gracious. Treated us to a cannoli and I will always order a cannoli after each meal when we return. Cannolis are superb! We will return often. Loved the entire experience, despite Covid restrictions, we had a lovely dinner experience!More

I had heard many good things about Enza’s from nearly everyone. They were on a list of “best Italian to try” from many people. When my husband told me we were on the way there for my Birthday dinner, I was really excited. We arrived...right on time for our 530 pm reservation and were seated quickly. The inside of the restaurant is really nice, and does not seem like a place that is tucked into a large strip mall. So far I was impressed and we were off to a great start. We were presented drink menus and wine lists and the massive laminated menu of food choices. Someone came over to quickly recite to us the specials of the day, and ask if we wanted to order any drinks. We were soon brought bread and had waters filled. When it came time to choose our meals, we were both on the fence between a few different options but finally made some choices. I knew for a fact that I wanted to try their escargot appetizer special, and my favorite beard decided on the ravioli fritti, as he was interested in having one of his favorites homemade(although we later found out that it was not in fact home made). At the time that we ordered the appetizers, we also went ahead and chose our entrees as well. For him it was the veal parmesan with the red sauce changed out for alfredo sauce, he chose the chicken noodle soup over the salad and also had the alfredo on the side of pasta that came with it. For myself, I chose the seafood cannelloni and opted for the salad. We chatted and laughed together while waiting, and I will say the wait was not that long at all, and we had our first courses! The escargot appetizer was a saucy plentiful and delightful dish. The sauce was perfect, the mushrooms and wilty spinach paired really well with the escargot themselves. I totally enjoyed this dish, and even found myself mopping up the sauce with a piece of bread. The ravioli were equally delicious. We had decided on having half meat and half cheese. The cheese ones are round and the meat ones are square so that was helpful! The fresh pasta is lightly breaded and are best enjoyed (in my opinion) dipped in some of the marinara that comes with it. Both types were plump and flavorful. Shortly after finishing the appetizers, our second course was coming. The chicken soup was piping hot and full of shredded chicken, carrots and ditalini pasta. My salad was crisp and well presented with a ranch dressing I believe. I did request the house Italian dressing, however this was an excellent one as well. During the course of our visit, I think there were five or more different people that came to our table all at different times. There was one staff member that must have been our server, as she took our orders; however we had all sorts of other people bring things, remove things, refill things, and ask how things were. It seemed a little hectic at times. The time came for our entrees to be delivered and we were very excited. At this point the food and service were just as outstanding as we had heard, and it was a wonderful meal and experience. I was the first to say something, as I think he was still just trying to make any sense of things. Both of our meals were totally covered in layers and layers of melted cheese. I love cheese, don’t get me wrong. Melty stringy cheese with a creamy sauce is delightful. This was terribly overdone. His veal was coated in it and was lacking any finesse at all, he could hardly get to the veal itself. His side of pasta was dry and not hot, had a tiny bit of alfredo on it and was mostly flavorless. As for my plate, it was also just too much. I had to push and pile the excess cheese to the side and only then located the pasta tubes with seafood and ricotta. The flavors of that were actually really nice if they were left to their own without so much mozzarella on top. My Husband had indicated to the staff that it was my Birthday, and our server brought a beautiful plate with Happy Birthday on it, a piece of tiramisu and a candle. She sang to me and asked hubby to join in and help her at the end. This was a nice touch and the tiramisu was so good that we added a piece to our order to go! All in all, I know that if someone recommended Enza’s for a meal, I wouldn’t turn it down. There were many amazing things about this meal. I was just left unenthused by the entrees. When I posted to another website about the experience, it was told to me that the owners were out of town and there were other diners from the same night that were also left a little disappointed. I also have learned that the pasta is not house made or fresh at all. At least we were able to finally cross it off the list of places to try!More

Welcoming atmosphere and attentive service by Dane. I had a guest in from out of town who requested authentic Italian. Enzo’s provided this in a lovely atmosphere...do not be fooled by the strip mall outside. We both had the tortellini and it was perfect. Fresh...salads and dessert to go. My guest liked it so much, he went back later in the week.More

Where to begin... From Grace who is extra delightful at both answering the phone and greeting you in person upon entering, to Stephanie, Julia, Josh, and Amanda who are the warmest, most professional and accommodating waitressing staff, to the owner Enza, who personally makes it...a point to meet you, greet you and make sure that everything is to your liking. This is the ultimate Italian fine dining experience, with the warmth of a family feel ambient. The food is exquisite and from appetizers to desserts. The icing on the cake is their daily piano bar pianists, who serenades you during your meal and "My Husband's Bar" a full service bar. It's simply spectacular, at Enza's Italian Restaurant. Look no more, this is an unmatched classy dining experience, with all the bells and whistles. Well done Enza and staff! Keep up the great work!! Bravo!!!More

I hate to say this about a family/local owned restaurant but the food is sub par. Better then Olive Garden but still failed to hit the mark in my opinion. I have been a few times as the food is good but over priced and...over the years the service and quality has been declining.More

Decided late to go to Enza’s for dinner and was fortunate to get in. Hostess, Grace, was able to seat us in the piano room where we were delightfully entertained by Carl Grant, he’s terrific. Julia was our server and did an excellent job. We...both started with Enza salad and warm bread with spiced oil. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the seafood medley over linguini with piccata sauce. Both were delicious. We finished with Enza’s famous Banana Cream Pie, sooooo goood. Wonderful evening, thank you Enza, Grace, Julia and CarlMore

Visiting from West Palm Beach. We came here in June phase 2 of pandemic. Very surprised to see they were not imposing 50% capacity, they were not sanitizing menus.. very relaxed. They obviously have a following and didn’t feel they needed to adhere to State...Regs. The bread basket was torn pieces of bread with butter, little garlic. We had 7pm reservations and received our entrees at 8:20pm. Long wait. Big raves on the eggplant fell short. It was a mushy version. We had to ask for olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper etc. Their special Asiago gnocchi was the decadent winner but didn’t make up for the slow service, average food quality and questionable adherence to infection control regulationsMore

My hubby and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary and we chose Enza's upon recommendations from Trip Advisor. We had a lovely night. Stephanie, our waitress did a wonderful job. Highlights included: homemade everything - right down to the salad dressing Escargot, pickled eggplant and...mozzarella with tomatoes and pesto for appetizer. I enjoyed the house special lobster dish - tasty and prepared excellently. Overall a fantastic experience.More
