My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We were seated in a high top in the bar. Was not asked if we wanted to sit in bar. It was only 5PM so not that busy. Finally a young man "bartender " came over. By now we were locating other restaurants in the area to go. Probably the worst impression... More

We enjoy New Orleans cuisine and this is the place to get a great spicy meal. No matter if it's fish, shellfish or chicken, Copeland's will satisfy your flavor-seeking appetite. We had the "Buffalo Spring Rolls" that was enough of an appetizer for 4. My entrée was "Crab Stuffed Shrimp" and I had enough for lunch the next day. Very... More

My wife and I first met in a Copeland's in Addison Texas almost 25 years ago. I thought they no longer existed. Much to our delight, we discovered this one in Jacksonville. The place was large, well-designed, well lit and inviting. The menu was extensive - almost trying to please everyone. We had a "Fish of the Day" item that... More

We were debating on where to have dinner and Copeland crossed our mind and we haven't had Orleans food for years so we decided to eat there. We were seated quick even with groups from graduation celebration. We had the Copeland's fav sample platter and corn and crab bisque for starters and they were good. we were already full after... I've traveled to New Orleans a few times. My wife has not and I've always wanted her to taste true New Orleans foods but, could never find a place authentic enough to do that, without going to New Orleans ourselves. This place stays true in every fashion to New Orleans and the time and love they put into their foods... More

My husband and I have been here a couple of times -- once with another couple and this last time by ourselves. The quality of the food and wine is excellent, and the service is superb! We've always had seafood or fish, but every meal that we've seen come out of the kitchen looks wonderful. Although we've never tried the... More

We visited Copelands during a recent stop in Jacksonville. We were not disappointed! The service was efficient and both waiters were very friendly. We started with the blue crab claws. It was the perfect appetizer to share. Each member of our party ordered something different and everyone was pleased with their entree. The food was hot, well seasoned, and as... More

Quick in and out for lunch with specials that are absolutely delicious. You can never go wrong with any of their food...try the wood grilled chicken with yams...delicious, as is the shrimp and bow tie pasta, the blackened chicken with mushroom stuffing....the broccoli bites are yummy as well, as are their burgers, and don't forget the cheesecake for dessert!

Our server was awesome. We had one hiccup, thought that the crab claws were regular (fried) but they werent, it was swimming in this sauce. The manager was rude about us sending it back but he did take it off our check . The burger was good, salty in some spots but eatable .
