We chose this restaurant blindly (friend suggested from reviews ). We were not disappointed. The menu had variety for every appetite. The staff is attentive and friendly while the food was very tasty. Was it James Beard? No, but not many restaurants are. However, everything...was well seasoned and satisfied our taste buds. We will definitely return. Our meal was Salmon Dip, Ribeye Burger, and Open faced Crab Cake.More

I almost missed out on this awesome restaurant and bar. My women's brunch group selected this restaurant and it is about 25 or 30 miles away from my house - I was close to declining the invitation. I am so glad I didn't. The brunch...menu isn't huge but the choices are amazing. Several members of my group had the chicken and waffles dish, including me - absolutely delicious! There are also delicious salads and other traditional brunch options. The bakery items look delicious. A couple of our group members order the HUGE SLABS of cake - they described their choices as light, fluffy, and delicious! The best thing about BB's is the server/bartender Darius. You could tell they were a bit short staffed but Darius was friendly, courteous, and got all of our drink and food orders right - there were 12 of us and he was the only server/bartender helping us. He is definitely an asset. I cannot wait to return for lunch, dinner, or another brunch! Excellent food and service. Easy, onsite parking too!More

Great food for a great value! I had the salmon salad which was so delicious. The dressing had a lot of lemon flavor which I love. We also ordered the wedge salad with steak. Umm umm good!

Don’t be fooled from the outside. This unassuming restaurant has excellent food and service. The inside has an impressive bar and chic modern deco look to it. The desserts display is amazing. A must visit when in Jacksonville.

Fun atmosphere although a bit loud. Excellent service, great menu options. Go small plates. Food was terrific. Recommend the calamari. Unlike anything you have tasted.

One of our favorite restaurants in Jacksonville, but our last visit had several issues. Steak we ordered medium came out raw with crab meet and sauce cold. Seemed like Béarnaise Sauce came out of freezer and had never been warmed up. Veggies cold as well....Loved the wine list but received one of the smallest wine pours we have had in years from any restaurant. Seems like some of the attention to detail we had experienced in the past was missing.More

We we’re in town for the Backstreet Boys concert. This restaurant was close to our hotel so we went. We had the duck Wong tong for appetizer. It was amazing! Our server was awesome, along with the rest of the staff putting up with a...restaurant full of women going to a concert. My only complaint was the bottle of wine we ordered was a Moscato it was awful. I guess that’s why it wasn’t on the wine list though. And the two drinks we ordered weren’t great. Visited twice this week. Shrimp lollipops are great. Good happy hour with inexpensive bar food. Ask for Ashlyn - a pleasant smiling server who did a great job tonight. Recommended.

The atmosphere was pleasant, the service good, but the dishes were hit or miss. - Appetizers - The fried green tomatoes and duck were all well cooked and tasted very good. The calamari was cooked well, but there was more garnish than calamari on the...plate and it tasted salty. - Mains - Only 1 in our party did not like their main dish (the salmon salad). While the salmon was cooked well, the salad itself was lackluster. The dressing was salty and that person ended up leaving most of it on the plate. Overall, having not been back in 5 years after this meal I feel I can wait another 5 years before returning.More

We are not locals, and tried this place on a whim based on the menu... And we were not disappointed! 😊 After dinner, we quickly decided that bb's is one of the best meals we've had!
