I've ordered take-out from Green Lake for over 15 years. The food has generally been good. The service has always been great. The workers are polite, and I have never had an order messed up. I recommend Green Lake.

Lunch order of fried rice with Chinese veggies was yummy and colorful. Shrimp Chow Mein was also good.
They are moving from here to the strip mall across from Publix on Feb 1.

Im always leery of good chinese. We travel a lot and favorites are Blue Willow in Midtown West and Joes Shanghai lower east side. NYC. Although this restaurant doesn't offer Peking Duck or Crispy Beef we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. First time here as we have just moved out of the keys where there is no good Chinese at all. We shared spicy beef and Singapore mei fun with an order of pork fried rice. Place is clean and one of their young girls checks you out effortlessly. That alone is worth it!

What was once excellent, became small portions of watery, greasy tasteless mess. We had been customers for many YEARS. In November & December, we ordered several times but each time got inedible mash. The next time, instead of calling in our order, I went in. I tried to ask about the staff & food change ... I didn't mention what I wanted to ... the lack of decent quality, flavor and polite staff. I was tuned out with a stone face, then only the staffers back ... the rude staffer refused to speak to me. If I had wanted to order, I would not have been allowed. I only got the staffers back. CLEARLY a cultural thing. We try to ask a question and we are hated Americans. What a complete utter disgrace and shame. Maybe American is not a good fit.

The service and food are great! We’ve never had a problem with out order. The portions are large and easily shareable. The soup is rich with a lot of wontons. The shrimp and cashews have a lot of both plus genius amounts of vegetables. The house lo mein is good. We order from here once a week.

This was our "go to" for Chinese food for years but no more! With the new owner and cook, I will NOT be back! Greasy, tasteless with small portions. We tried twice about a month apart with the same bad food. I went in instead of phone ordering for the third time and to try to talk to someone. I was shocked that the counter person just turned her back and refused to speak to me. Bad food and rude! Wish I could give them ZERO stars!

We ordered from here for the first time last night. We had two orders of chicken teriyaki, quart of chicken fried rice, veggie rolls.
The rice was ok. The chicken in the rice was very bland and not a pleasant texture.
The teriyaki was super bland. It did not taste like teriyaki at all! I had to douse it in soy sauce to eat it. My husband refused the meat and went to pick up McDonald's. That's just sad.
My kids did not enjoy it either.
The veggie rolls were pretty good. They gave us extra, not sure why.
Probably our last time ordering here.

Small place and maybe hard to find. It's located on the west side of the Metro Dinner. It wouldn't hurt if they would do some remodling, paint etc....The food comes in a sterofoam box with so much food in it it's hard to close. The food is very good and a reasonable price.

We have chosen this place on several occasions because of its convenience and trying to give it a chance with different management (or so I was told). The food has never been anything but just OK, and we have tried various items to see if this would make a difference. The dumplings/pot stickers are awful - more dough than is reasonable so I believe they are ordered in probably frozen from somewhere. With this in mind, I would guess very little is made in house. They even charge you for fortune cookies (!), what Chinese place charges for fortune cookies! Mu Shu pork comes with only 3 pancakes, extra charge if you need more (obvious need more than 3) and extra charge if you also need more sauce (obvious need in my opinion). Egg rolls also seem to be shipped in from a cheap distributor. I have given it as many chances as possible, no longer worth it as I don't think they can change. If I have the Chinese food desire, I now simply take a longer drive for quality Chinese. I would recommend you keep driving to another Chinese restaurant as well.

The food is great- made fresh (tons of fresh vegetables) unlike every other Chinese take-out place in town. The staff always throws in extra freebies, like a free order of crab rangoons or eggrolls, when you spend over $20.
