Enjoyed five points on Friday so we thought we would try a different place for Saturday... I hate chains so always want to find a locals type of place. Funky decor and a bit irreverent. But if I wanted dominos I could have stayed at...home.. This place is small. We went early, about 5:30 and they were already half full. By the time we left at 7:15 or so, they were full. Everything is made fresh so you will sit for a bit. Order an appetizer first and then absorb the menu. So many things to consider. We ordered the caprese salad. Yummy! Enough to share with someone. We also ordered a 10” chicago and the Mimis lasagna. The lasagna was very good. The Chicago pizza- it is a bread crust, not a pie crust. Very filling!! We took home enough for dinner tomorrow. Food is reasonably priced, especially when you look at the portion size. We will be back to try the New York style. They serve wine and local beers and those are reasonable as well.More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We're glad you enjoyed everything! Next time, make sure you order a side of our homemade marinara to dip the Chicago crust in. :) Looking forward to seeing you on your next visit!

Yum! This was a great find. Food was awesome, friendly service. Pepsi products (for inquiring minds), but no worries...there is fresh brewed tea and plenty of ale choices. And that’s all that really matters anyway when it comes to pizza. It’s small inside, so time...it well or opt for carry out. Lots to look at on the walls and ceiling. There are kids menu options that should please the pickiest eaters. There’s pasta, sandwiches, calzone, Stromboli, and salads if you’re crazy enough to pass on the 20+ pizza options. We had Chicago pizza and New York style pizza, giant meatball, garlic bread, cheesecake, red velvet cake, cannoli, and 5 boxes for everything we didn’t get to. There is a high bar for Carmines if any other pizza place is up for the challenge.More

Seriously. This was the best pizza I’ve had in I don’t know when... and we tried a thin crust and deep dish... I was like... doing a “Harry Met Sally”. Service was great... safety measures in effect by staff. I think I’ve fallen in love...with this pizza. The Sofia thin crust ... amazing... Purple Haze deep dish... OMG... I can’t decide what is better.. I’ve working here for three weeks and I will NOT be a stranger. Amber, chandler and Alex...were KICK ASS staff and damn... will be back as much as I can !!!!!More

We ordered takeout pizza and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending menu items. We ordered the Zeus' Mt. Olympus pie and it was so flavorful, and was more than enough food for my husband and I. The marinara sauce...is so flavorful, and the crust stuffed with cheese is amazing. We also got a Greek salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and topped with plenty of quality toppings. Would highly recommend this local pizza joint!More

Saw that only one out of four cooks was wearing a mask. Informed the manager, who had been standing by the door looking directly at the kitchen, who seemed shocked and went to tell the staff to put on masks. They evidently did not even...HAVE masks, because he walked back out to get disposable ones for them. Five minutes later, one of the cooks was wearing his mask below his nose, and another had removed his altogether. Pointed this out to the manager and he returned to the kitchen to tell the staff he was “the one who was getting yelled at.” Clearly not concerned about infecting other people, including the many who were ordering takeout.More

In town for 1 night over by Mayo Clinic. Saw the reviews and ordered ToGo. Drove across town. Food was ready on time, but both mine and daughters pizza & calzone were just OK. We like all kinds of pizza - Chicago, NY, Detroit, and...unique types. We weren't too impressed with flavors or the crust.More
