Wow. I've never seen so many different teas. My 5 year old great niece wanted to have her birthday at The Cozy Tea Room. Her family had been there before and she was so excited to go there. It was a very small family group. I had never been there before and I was very impressed. I've never had quiche... More

I love high tea. My best friend and I have been going to high tea from Los Angels to Boston - every chance we have had. After I moved to JAX, I've not had a friend to enjoy high tea with. Today, my best friend is visiting me from NC. I had to find a tea room - and I... More

I ate lunch here after working downtown one day I got out early. What a treat! I ate alone and was seated in a very comfy little table off to the side. The service was wonderful and there were simply too many items on the menu to try b/c they all sounded so good! I ordered a pot of an... More

This place is a little different than your traditional afternoon tea. When I think of afternoon tea, I imagine the little serving tower with scones, finger sandwiches, and petit fours. Here, everything is served individually. In spite of the non-traditional service, I still score this place high because the food is so delicious. Honestly, the vanilla sugar scone is the... More

We visited for the first time today and were impressed with the tea selection and scones. We had a sandwich with soup and one with fruit salad. We had real sandwiches - what a treat. Everything was very fresh and served quickly. The Margaret Hope Darjeeling tea was superb and because it was decanted with tea leaves left behind we... More

The service was good, although it did take a bit of time for the checks to come to our table. But considering we had a large group, our waitress did very well in serving our orders correctly and on time. They have a large variety of teas to pick from, and the desserts looked delicious. I chose the cheese and... More

My boyfriend and I love this place and go in for our fix as often as we can, considering we live 25 miles away. I love traditional English tea rooms and this is the only one in town. The egg salad is like butter, the curry chicken salad is crazy good, and the soups are always delicious. Do not skip... More

This is a family owned tea room and restaurant - I have eaten there at least every few months for several years. I love the decor (imagine if we each brought a set of our grandmother's china and mixed/matched). The food is consistently good. I especially love the corn/butternut squash soup - it is amazing. They have a large tea... More

Mellow ambiance with a diverse and delicious tea selection. The sandwiches however are not that flavorful and not very robust. Scones were very good.

Family owned business must be having a hard time hiring and keeping good servers. The "Help Wanted" sign on the door of the restaurant did not strike me as a concern as we entered for a early lunch. But soon after being seated, I could tell the tea room was indeed in need of more friendly, professional staff. Twice I... More
