I wouldn't have tried getting into Esin on a Friday night without reservations, but we got there at 8:30 and managed to get seated. It's been a few years since I've eaten there, but the whole place was buzzing with activity and the service was as polished as any Manhattan restaurant I've been to. Happy to be offered a seasonal... This is our go to restaurant for lunch or dinner. We have always had the best food and service! The menu is stable with seasonal additions. The desserts can't be touched by others as quality is superb.

Esin and Curtis run a fine place. You can't go wrong. All dishes are well-prepared and Esin herself is legendary for her desserts.

Nice combination of Middle Eastern (or Turkish) cuisine with Southern US, or even California cuisine. Beautiful suburban restaurant, friendly service, good food. Fairly quiet atmosphere, outdoor seating.

Here’s a neat place to celebrate your anniversary or a special birthday. We celebrated our anniversary with a delightful dinner.  For starters, my wife had a flatbread dish with fresh peaches and other great stuff and I started with soup -- a puree of leek and potatoes  ---  that was delightful.  One of the daily specials was halibut. The price... More

This is one of our favorite places to go to celebrate birthdays with girlfriends. All dishes are always delicious. I had grilled swordfish over saffron risotto and a recommended warm Brown Betty fruit compote tart. Dinner was delicious and the desert perfection! Service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice!

My husband and I recently dined at Café Esin on a Thursday evening. The menu offers varied selections at a moderate cost. I enjoyed the chicken wrapped in filo dough and my husband had the New York steak. Both selections were well prepared and the steak was tender and flavorful, according to my husband as good as a steak house... More

This restaurant is the best in food, desserts, service, ambiance and wine. All meals I've had here are prepared perfectly with just the right accompaniment. The wine list is extensive but not overwhelming and priced from reasonable to some what expensive. The deserts are "to die for" one after the other gets better and better. It's so hard to make... Esin has been a neighborhood jewel since opening in 1998. The name Esin is not only the name of one of the owners but also means “inspiration”. The food is the passion of Chef & Owners Curtis and Esin deCarion. They strive to create cuisine that is fresh, seasonal, and prepared with great care. The fare is American with bits of Mediterranean influences. The wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator & Wine Enthusiast magazines.
Esin Restaurant & Bar relocated in July of 2008 to the Newest upscale lifestyle center The Rose Garden in Danville. The freshly designed dining room offers warm and comforting tones.
Be sure to save room for one of Esin’s fresh made desserts that have become so well known.
