This was a great find. I had the special grilled halibut. It had Mediterranean twist of being served over a dry dhal. The wine list was impressive and the service great.

Great food and service. We always go here for team lunches. Nice selection and the staff will adjust sections based on dietary restrictions.

Great food and deserts. I took my wife for Mother's Day brunch and we had a good time. Service was good and the food and deserts were delicious.

First let me say that I've been eating at restaurants run by the lovely Curtis and Esin DeCarion for over 20 years. Their food is exquisite ans they know how to hire talented and well trained front of the house support. This location is splendid in decor and comfort - try sitting outside on the patio. You can count on... More

Cafe Esin is consistently wonderful. The food is excellent without getting overly fussy. The service is always attentive without being pushy. Danville has a lot of good restaurants but I consider it the best and it is always our choice for celebrations or special date nights.

We've been regulars since the "old location" in San Ramon. Nice small bar area, good booths and small outdoor seating area. Only downsides are outdoor adjoins a parking lot and inside can get pretty noisy particularly weekend evenings.

The staff is very professional and the food is very well made. Desserts are delicious, just could have nicer presentation, but I'd still go back!

When you sort off pull of the freeway and decide its time to eat- often you trip across the typical US fare of well known chains. Often you will settle for them. Boy am I glad I didnt settle this time, and have marked Edin's on my oasis spots as I travel. It is so good, I may not even... More

Love this place. The food is always excellent and a good variety. Large bar area and good selection of wines and mixed drinks. Love the ambience too and it also has covered outside seating.

Description
Esin has been a neighborhood jewel since opening in 1998. The name Esin is not only the name of one of the owners but also means “inspiration”. The food is the passion of Chef & Owners Curtis and Esin deCarion. They strive to create cuisine that is fresh, seasonal, and prepared with great care. The fare is American with bits of Mediterranean influences. The wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator & Wine Enthusiast magazines.
Esin Restaurant & Bar relocated in July of 2008 to the Newest upscale lifestyle center The Rose Garden in Danville. The freshly designed dining room offers warm and comforting tones.
Be sure to save room for one of Esin’s fresh made desserts that have become so well known.
