A friend took me here for lunch right after we moved to Danville. We are regulars now. I love to get a table near the fireplace. The atmosphere here is wonderful. It's warm and welcoming. An awesome menu with local ingredients. Lots of clean, organic options. I love the soups! The Tuna melt is fabulous (probably my favorite) as is... More

The reasturant is very casual open seating, menu is generic and food is OK but when you pay $13.00 for a martini spoiled the night This ain't NY

Chow's is a popular place all meals of the day. I think the main attraction is pretty good food at a reasonable price. I like the Thai noodles or mixed seafood linguini. My wife likes the pot roast or lamb burger. The bartenders here are more friendly than most and the bar selection is what you'd expect. Wines tend to... More

Always a reliable option. A bit overpriced but it's an upscale restaurant in Danville. Burgers and salads are excellent.

We've been to Chow's many times. While not a favorite, its always been ok. We shared a salad which was good but the spaghetti was really subpar. The meatballs were not good. Others in our group were also disappointed in the pizza. Service was good and attentive but none of us were happy with the meal. Danville has enough restaurants... More

Family and business friendly, casual atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious. I was in town for four days and ate there twice - I'm in love with thier soup varieties.

A Bare-Bones Breakfast: 2 Pancakes- $10 that's $5/ a pancake! 3 Pieces of over cooked bacon = $6 that's $2 a SLICE!! A whole POUND of premium cut applewood smoked peppered bacon is $5 from the meat counter at the grocery store. NO Eggs, NO toast, NO coffee. COLD syrup sitting on the table like a Denny's restaurant. (Disgusting) $16... More

Starbucks created a whole brand and worldwide chain making people feel at home in their stores. Chow manages to the same thing only better. Very comfortable (did I mention the fireplace?). Great quality food, every dish Ive ever had there (been coming for years) has been great and I love that the menu has different sizes for salads and other... More

Lots of heaters, very pleasant atmosphere. Inside can be noisy but outdoor dining is quiet & relaxing. This is "bistro" menu dining. Nothing very complicated but a nice variety of soups, appetizers & main courses. Bar is very good & desserts can be very good!

I do not understand why this place is so crowded, beyond the fact it is a young people's noisy hangout. This is not the place for a quiet dinner. There is an area with tables outside, a lot quieter but obviously an option when the weather cooperates. The menu looked great -- but the food was only "average" -- disappointing.... More
