The Eveready Diner was featured in an episode of Diners, Drive Ins & Dives with Guy Fieri and was stated to be a great pit stop if in the area. But long before that, this diner was beloved by its locals. With a classy outter appearance, the big cup of joe guy inside and their effort to keep the past... More

We ate lunch here when we arrived in Hyde Park as its ambiance is great. So retro--loved that! Our food was average. I liked my meal better than my friends. The next day we had breakfast there. This was better but one of my friends had to wait a very long time for her blueberry pancakes. She didn't rave about... More

This was a hoot, and being from out of state it was a total surprise when I happened upon it on my way to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt museum, which is practically right across the street. I'm so glad I didn't just go with my first breakfast option, McDonald's... another quarter mile down the Albany Post Road is this little... More

Came here to meet some friends. The service was good. The food was also very good. Typical diner with lots of items on the menu. The portions were pretty large and the food was good.

My table was very wobbly, the prices were slightly too high, and the service was sub par. I wouldn't call the service bad, because nobody was rude to me. It just had the feel of a place that has gotten complacent and stopped going the extra step. The food was enjoyable, and the retro diner atmosphere was interesting, however. Glad... More

Truly a top notch diner; unbelievable menu. One could eat something different everyday for a year and still have new choices available. All the usual breakfast fare ++. I had the chili , was tempted to order a second portion. Would definitely go again.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch after the hosts at our B&B recommended it. It feels retro and seems very popular with the locals. Service is fast and efficient. Food is very good. We had the homemade chicken soup and cheeseburgers with onion rings. Everything was very tasty.

Came here with some friends for a quick dinner before a drive to the Catskills. Food was good for the price, server was decent, I would eat there again

This place is really neat. The décor is cool, the food selection is great (lots of choices) and the service was pretty good. We got a lot of food for our money, so it was definitely a good deal.
