My husband ordered the burger and I ordered the Cuban sandwich. They were both very good. We also ordered the truffle fries, which were outstanding. I would stop in again!

I love the fruit and nut salad with salmon. The choices are limited and the sides a bit unusual for our taste but I never go away hungry.

I really wanted to love this place like so many others do but, alas, it was not to be. We shared the watermelon and feta salad and pizza. The watermelon and feta salad was okay. It just didn’t have much flavor. The feta cheese tasted...More

A small place so seating is limited but a delight for folks that appreciate finely prepared, quality meals. Even a simple burger or salad is delightful, full of flavors and made with care. It is definitely pricier than other local eateries but well worth it...More

This quaint little restaurant on a corner street is by far the best place to eat in downtown Gettysburg. The place is small so seating is limited. Their menu has a large variety of different foods. The service was excellent, the food was “fresh” and...More

Not at all what I expected. They have many options, and all include the truffle fries. The Cubana was fresh and full of flavor. Delicious

We were visiting family in Fairfield and stopped at Food 101 for lunch . Loved it so much we returned for dinner . Had the rack of lamb ... delicious - and the flourless chocolate cake was superb .

I was wrong about the patio. It is ok for families, but the seating areas inside are limited as the dining area is small. We enjoyed the food and service. Sorry about the misinformation. We also enjoyed The Pub that is on... More

Description
Step through the door of one of Gettysburg's culinary treasures and be drawn in by the amazing aroma wafting from the open kitchen. A cozy setting within an updated former diner, guests have their pick of small tables or communal dining. The new American cuisine is full of selection and flavor with a changing menu to keep you coming back for something new. Open daily for lunch and dinner, select from fresh salads, sandwiches or dive into an artisan wild mushroom pizza. There's nothing common about the mouth-watering vegetable powerhouse sandwich on wheat berry bread, the muffaletta or any of the chef's seasonal selections. Be sure to include a side of house cut truffle parmesan fries. Save room for a delicious dessert. Made fresh, the selection of cakes and pies are complemented by a frothy cappuccino or caramel macchiato. Lunch or dinner, be sure to make Food 101 part of your next Gettysburg getaway.
