We stopped here for dessert and had a delicious double-dip homemade ice cream in a waffle cone, and a vanilla malt - both were excellent. Cute atmosphere, can sit outside and people watch too. Highly recommend!

A few friends and I went in 15 minutes before they closed. I hate doing that, but I figured for ice cream it would be an in and out trip. Well, the old lady who took our order made me feel like my ordering ice cream was an Inconvenience to her. Stabbing the buttons with a lot of Unnecessary force... More

My husband and I wandered into the Cannonball on a Thrusday evening. The smell of French Fry grease was so heavy in the air that our clothes and hair were saturated by the time we ordered two cones..I ordered mint chip ice cream and it tasted like the freezer, it was not appealing. my husband ordered a coffee cone and... The Malt Shop is on a main drag in Gettysburg and street parking was available when we stopped by. The staff were friendly and the portions were large. They had usual flavors to select from and nothing jumped out at us about the Ice Cream yet the servings were generous. You can eat there or take your treat with you.

Walked in 10 minutes before they closed to grab a milkshake while playing Pokemon go in town. The older lady seemed perturbed we even came in. Ordered a shake for my wife and I. While she was ringing me up she noticed we were playing Pokemon go. She then proceeded to go on a tirade about it that would've made... More

After a perfect day in Gettysburg, what better way to beat the heat than by indulging in old- fashioned ice-cream? It is the perfect summer staple, and this shop is conveniently located. Be sure to check out the cannonball lodged in the brick, with a small flag positioned over the door.

This malt shop is expensive. There's nothing wrong with Turkey Hill Ice Cream however, a little change from a $5 bill was rather expensive for a small TH milkshake. The interior is VERY small. There were two of us and when we went to sit at table we saw a printed statement on the table which read, "This space is... More

My black raspberry milk shake tasted pretty good about 9:00 PM after the 2 hour foot tour "hike with Ike". They had a good variety of Turkey Hill Ice cream.

They serve Turkey Hill ice cream which is ok, but not what I consider premium. However, the price is definitely premium. We paid over $9 for a single cone and a double cone which I think was high.

Close to town center, this is a fun little malt shoppe with a great number of treats and flavors. Perfect break from touring the battlefield.
