After a perfect day in Gettysburg, what better way to beat the heat than by indulging in old- fashioned ice-cream? It is the perfect summer staple, and this shop is conveniently located. Be sure to check out the cannonball lodged in the brick, with a small flag positioned over the door.

This malt shop is expensive. There's nothing wrong with Turkey Hill Ice Cream however, a little change from a $5 bill was rather expensive for a small TH milkshake. The interior is VERY small. There were two of us and when we went to sit at table we saw a printed statement on the table which read, "This space is... More

My black raspberry milk shake tasted pretty good about 9:00 PM after the 2 hour foot tour "hike with Ike". They had a good variety of Turkey Hill Ice cream.

They serve Turkey Hill ice cream which is ok, but not what I consider premium. However, the price is definitely premium. We paid over $9 for a single cone and a double cone which I think was high.

Close to town center, this is a fun little malt shoppe with a great number of treats and flavors. Perfect break from touring the battlefield.

We stopped here for some ice cream and upon walking into the shop, we could barely breath due to the smoke and odor coming from the kitchen - it smelled like fried food. They must not have a good ventilation system. We got two milkshakes, a sundae and a cone - our bill was over $20! I would not recommend... More

All good stuff here. They even make their own soda drinks! It's just like the old malt shops. Food was good, and the people were so nice. They talked to us like they were old friends.

I ordered a kiddy cone and it had two scoops of ice cream. Definitely got a deal. A lot of flavor so to choose from and the service quick and friendly. They have benches and tables to sit outside as well as inside.

This small place is just off the square in downtown Gettysburg. I got a very large waffle cone with scoops of black cherry ice cream that was flat out delicious. I haven't tried their food, but if you're checking out the downtown don't miss stopping here for an ice cream treat.

Stopped in there during the afternoon for an ice cream break. We both got a waffle dish of ice cream. The service was excellent and workers were extremely friendly. This is a very cute, old fashioned looking establishment. Very clean, very friendly and great service.
