The restaurant was open and friendly. The food was good but the cocktail that night was scrumptious. Apple Cider Sangria. Didn’t know what to expect but ended up having 2. Delicious. Now I am planning a cabin trip with family and wanted to make these...so I called the restaurant and they were nice enough to share the recipe with me. So thankful.More

We have visited Gettysburg over Thanksgiving before, but this was our first time eating at The Pike. We made reservations for the Thanksgiving buffet and everything was wonderful. The restaurant had the tables spaced well enough apart and took extra precautions with the buffet. The...food, and service, was excellent. We will definitely make a return trip here on a future Gettysburg trip. Great job!!!More

I went to this restaurant because it was the first place I came across during my battlefield tour. The people were nice and my server was friendly. My food was not very good. I had the hot turkey sandwich and it had a lot of...dark meat on it, which I don't really like. The menu did not specify there was white and dark meat in the sandwich, and I have never had a hot turkey sandwich anywhere else that contained dark meat. The bread was also not good, thin, bland and mushy. So, I think I would have enjoyed this place more if I had ordered something different. It is a very simple, basic bar and restaurant. I would give it another try, but wouldn't be in a hurry to return.More

We stopped in with our teenager after wandering the battlefield. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The only complaint was the time between ordering the appetizer and when it arrived. We waited 40 minutes for the crab dip pretzel- the most amazing appetizer I...have had in a long time. We ordered fish and chips and cream of crab soup. Both were amazing with more than enough fries. We took some to-go. The day we were there, there were about a dozen bikers and my kid hates loud noises. We asked to be seated inside and that was not a problem. The windows must be sound proof and we heard nothing from the motorcycles or diners on the patio.More

We came on a rainy day when the restaurant was not too crowded. We were seated quickly and the server was very polite. He took drink orders right away and delivered the drinks not too long after. However he then disappeared for about 10 or...15 minutes before he returned to place our food orders. It took a while before the food arrived. Five out of the six orders were accurate. One was not correct. The server disappeared once more though and after another 10 minutes or so we contacted a different server who corrected the order. Food portions are huge--one plate of hot turkey or roast beef could easily feed 2 people. Sandwiches are a more normal size, but even a burger is 1/2 pound. The food tasted fine but wasn't anything special. Everything just seemed a bit bland. Even the burger seemed like it had no seasoning on it. Nothing was bad, but it wasn't great either. I would not seek this place out again.More

My husband and I dropped in for a late lunch and ordered an appetizer to share. We waited 50 minutes to be served stale nachos. The chips were so stale we could not eat them. Slow service and stale food.

We ate here for dinner for the first time. We've been here for breakfast before and it was good. Our server took our order, brought our drinks. Husband had unsweetened ice tea. We asked for sugar substitute. She never came back. After he drank about...half the glass i got up and went to hostess counter to get some. Someone else brought our meals. Our server never came to ask if everything was ok. We needed more napkins as we both had messy burgers but never saw her to ask so my husband finally went and got paper towels out of the bathroom to use. I had to go to hostess stand again to get our check. We spoke to the hostess about our treatment and she said thanks for the input. My husband left a review on Facebook and one of the managers messaged him to give them a call. He's called twice and each time whoever answers says they're too busy to talk. Obviously bad service doesn't matter to them. There was one waitress who was so good. We watched her take care of each of her tables. Her name was Sidney and i wish we would've gotten her. We won't go back.More
