Okay, Gift Shop was the best part

We were excited to go here, the name really drew us. When we pulled up there were several tour buses full of elderly people, so my husband and I figured it would be a good place to go. I've eaten there many times and the food is consistently great. The carving table always has real turkey, roast beef and ham. The soups are incredible and taste homemade. The Desserts are great. Absolutely the best pace to eat in Gettysburg.

At least once a year my family and I take a trip to Gettysburg. Not just because we're history buffs, or for the nostalgia of the beautiful, small town of Gettysburg, but to also eat at General Pickett's! Can't beat the homemade food and the prices! They even accept AARP for a discount.

The buffet had everything on it... roast beef, ham, turkey, vegetables, salads, and of course desserts.

Delighted to find real southern cooking - not sure that applied to Pennsylvania! Wonderful assortment of vegetables (vegetarian here) and meats for the rest of the party. We purposely ate a late breakfast before having "dunch" or "linner" at Gen. Pickett's so we beat the crowds and made it a two meal day instead of three so we could indulge.

The best things about this buffet are the ham, turkey, desserts, Pepsi, and the wonderful Civil War and covered bridge art on the walls. We had been there many years ago, and the menu hasn't changed much but the quality has. The roast beef had gristles and was tough. The fish was overcooked. All in all, it was typical buffet... More

I have been going to General Pickett's buffet since I was little and now bring my 2 hear old son there as well. The food is amazing always hot always fresh and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. My family always looks forward to going there. I highly recommend Pickett's Buffet.

They have beautiful Civil War pictures all over. The food is good, with a mix of fried, grilled, and baked foods. The salad bar is nice too! The price is also reasonable. Service was excellent! We've eaten here several times,.

Food was terrible. Service terrible...straw for drink literally thrown at me. Bugs came out of the bread. Unless you looked at the food you could not tell what you where eating.
