Stayed at Gettysburg hotel and One Lincoln the hotel restaurant was too busy to even acknowledge I walked in. Went here instead. Shrimp scampi was great. Salads are pre-made and in a fridge with a solo cup for dressing. If they changed that, everything would have been perfect. BUT, the food and service were excellent!.

My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised with the best Italian meal we have had outside of NYC or Boston (maybe even better than those places too) when we stopped in for dinner at Mamma Ventura. We ordered an antipasto, to share (delicious) and my wife enjoyed the eggplant parmesan while I went for the Zupa de Pesce. Amazing!... More

We got in without an issue on a Saturday evening. I had a chicken salad and the husband had a pizza. Both were great. The salad reminded me of something I'd get at my grandmother's house. Prices were pretty reasonable for the basics. Lots of mixed reviews on the marinara but it was really tasty.

Theres so many other places to go, so you may want to skip this place. To begin , our service with our waitress, Mona, was terrible! She had two tables, with one being ours. We did not feel welcomed, she was not friendly, and left our table for at least 20 minutes at one point . Not knowing where she... More

We stopped in for lunch at Mamma Ventura's and were delighted with our choices. The food was freshly made and plentiful. Prices were very reasonable, too. I recommend a visit while you stroll along the streets in Gettysburg.

A small Italian resteraunt that serves many locals and tourists. We arrived after a concert and were well taken care of. Service is friendly and efficient. We tried the Stromboli and the Veal Parmigiana, both excellent. The best meal of our three day stay in Gettysburg.

Charming waitress presented OK food with a smile which made our dinning experience OK. Food was OK but nit authentic Italian, not what we would expect as Italian in Europe.

Mama Ventura's was a nice change from our usual burgers and sandwiches on our family trip. All of our dishes were delicious and our waiter couldn't have been nicer!

I come from an Italian family and am used to really good Italian food. So, when I go to an Italian Restaurant that I know nothing about, I am usually not expecting too much. I ordered the chicken marsala and when it came, I thought they got the order wrong and gave me veal instead. The chicken was pounded so... More
