Was very busy when we dined. Hamburgers were well liked. Steaks were good but rib-eyes were extremely fatty. Well seasoned though and tasty. Sweet potato fries are good and corn fritters are really good. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate. One steak was sent back as it was extremely rare and medium well ordered. Came back one minute... More

Excellent beer selection and delicious burgers. We loved the atmosphere and visited while on vacation in Gettysburg. Would recommend to other travelers.

It does not matter if we are stopping for a quick sandwich or a steak dinner, we are always pleased. The staff is super friendly and the beer selection is always good.

We totally enjoyed this place and it also had GREAT FOOD. We had the best hamburger EVER the General Meade, Crab Spin Dip and Maryland Crab soup which we did not enjoy. This is a well run restaurant, the owner was so friendly and Lauren L was wonderful. Wish we had made it back for seconds......

Menu is varied and reasonable; in drinks they offer the usual plus house wines and a full menu of specialty brews; they offer just about everything; to watch the kitchen in action..they are a well oiled machine. NO matter the crowd the food gets cranked out; bartenders super friendly. We didn't make reservations; we ate on a late Friday nite... More

Sat at the bar and ordered beers and requested menus. Food came quickly and was delicious. The bartenders were all chatting with each other and completely ignored the bar full of patrons. Had to go the hostess to get mayo for my fries and another patron interrupted the employees conversation to get me another beer.

This place has the best hamburgers I have ever had. Each burger is named after a civil war leader. It was fun and the food is excellent. Highly recommend --

We went on a guided tour of the battlefield earlier in the day and the guide recommended the boiled shrimp at this restaurant. When we first arrived it looked so crowded that we almost left but we actually did not have to wait long. We were not hugely hungry so we just got the boiled shrimp and nothing else, my... More
