We were excited to see that Mr. G's ice cream was still open while visiting Gettysburg over the Thanksgiving holiday. The ice cream is always excellent and the taste cannot be beat. Most ice cream shops are already closed for the season, so it was great that we were able to stop in and get a tasty treat.

We were more than pleasantly surprised by this place. We had heard it was good and the line was long. But we found out that was because the ice cream was that good. It was the first time I've ever had Root Beer Ice cream and I really enjoyed it. I'd definitely come here again!

If you are looking for and after supper snack or just a light lunch how can you go wrong with hand dipped ice cream? I recommend the Salted Carmel in a waffle cone.

Ice cream is not typically my favorite treat, but Mr. G's Ice Cream really is very good. It is very creamy without being too heavy and they have a nice selection of ice cream desserts.

There's always a long line in the summer tine, but it's worth the wait. There's a wide variety of flavors of store-made ice cream, a few soft serves, and a choice of cones and cups. There's even a child-size offering; the regular sizes are generous. Only a few tables and chairs inside, a long picnic table outside, where there are... More

Mr G's is by far the best ice cream around! I only eat ice cream once a year and that is when we visit Gettysburg and then I get it every night there. Many flavors to choose from. My favorites are Chocolate Peanut Butter, Death by Chocolate and Rootbeer! All are awesome! Thanks Mr G for the awesome ice cream... More
