Mr G's is by far the best ice cream around! I only eat ice cream once a year and that is when we visit Gettysburg and then I get it every night there. Many flavors to choose from. My favorites are Chocolate Peanut Butter, Death by Chocolate and Rootbeer! All are awesome! Thanks Mr G for the awesome ice cream... More

If you like ice cream, this is the place to go! If you ask the locals of Gettysburg where the best place to grab ice cream is, 9.5 out of 10 times they'll direct you to Mr. G's. You always get your money worth. After you finish your ice cream, you can visit their gift shop directly behind the ice... More

We always visit Mr. G's when we're in town. Very quaint and usually very busy! Great ice cream in a central part of the town.

We visited in October and it was a busy night. There is very limited (in colder weather) indoor seating, and I was expecting more of a hard ice cream selection. And, just a personal preference on my part--if I am going to have hard ice cream, it should be "hard". The ice cream we got was quite soft for being... More

The other reviews basically sum up my experience here...fantastic ice cream that's worth repeated visits. I've been here several times and each time have tried a different flavor. So far I have yet to be disappointed. After receiving your ice cream, you can sit outside at picnic tables or play ring toss while you eat. A trip to Gettysburg isn't... More

When in town we stop here everyday. The salted caramel and pumpkin ice cream was so good. They were so good we did not get a chance to try others. The staff is friendly and the owner goes out of his way to talk to you. See you next month when we are in town.

Oh my goodness, I had never tasted such delicious salted caramel ice cream as they had here (see photo)!! In fact it was so good that we went here twice in 5 days. :) It had huge swirls of caramel throughout the vanilla ice cream and chunks of chocolate chips. This is a great place to go after eating at... More
