Very disappointed in this Pub. Food was mediocre and pricey. The dessert we had was ridiculously expensive and not that good. A 4" chocolate chip cookie and one scoop of ice cream...and it was $7.95. The drinks were satisfactory but to be honest maybe it...More

Stopped here on a food tour. Tried the shepherd's pie and the bourbon barrel hard cider. One of the best shepherd's pies I've ever had. My mom even said she was going to change her recipe because this one was so much better than hers!...More

Didn't have high hopes, but have them a go. They took us to the left into a much more charming area, a red and white room all the way to the left. The service was very good and the food was good. The shrimp bisque...More

Wonderful food, busy atmosphere, I'd recommend reservations, though we did not mind waiting at the bar. We got to chat with some locals, which tells you right away, this is the place to be.They text you when your table is ready. Enjoyed it very much!

You should contact the restaurant directly and not thru TripAdvisor. I doubt the owners check TripAdvisor every day.

Description
Gettysburg's only Irish-owned and operated pub offers a genuine taste of Ireland through "Ceol, cainte agus craic" Music, talk & fun. Open 7 days for lunch & dinner, The Garryowen, or "The GO" as it's know to our regulars, is as inviting as any pub found back in the old country with friendly service, a large selection of Irish whiskies, the best of Ireland's draft beers, and the perfect pour of Guinness which is complimented with a carefully picked selection of international and domestic premium beers, wines and spirits. Our kitchen prepares the most authentic Irish fare in the area from the owners' family recipes, with many ingredients imported directly from Ireland. Paired with traditional pub fare, made in house daily from scratch with local ingredients where possible. Our menu is sure to satisfy the most discerning of tastes. Enjoy your meal in our cozy dining room, by the fireplace or at the bar.The first and third Sundays of each month are a special treat for lovers of Irish music, with a traditional 'Seisun' from 2 til 5pm. Reservations are highly recommended.
