Went here with the hubs for lunch midweek. I’m vegetarian and he’s a carnivore so I liked that they had plenty of options for us both. They have a nice menu. My husband said the turkey burger was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I had a side salad with carrot ginger dressing and the siracha cauliflower appetizer. The salad was unremarkable but good. The cauliflower was amazing. We also got an order of vegan fries (vegan whiz, mushroom-bacon bits, scallions, spicy ketchup, garlic sriracha sauce) to share. They were not great. I recommend skipping them entirely. The ingredients held promise but they didn’t deliver on flavor. I ended up adding a bunch of hot sauce to them and that helped. The service was lukewarm. They automatically add 20% for the tip so the server really had no incentive to make any effort at all. My husband never got a refill on his $4 iced tea and when he asked for a refill to-go the waitress brought it to him with another check for $4. That’s ridiculous. I debated giving 3 stars because of the service but decided to go with 4 because the food that was good was really good. The ambiance was good.

Excellent chai latte and soy latte - you can grab coffee here to go. I was unable to get a seat for the sit down brunch, but it was sure packed. The portions are massive based on looking at the plates coming out.
Great vibes here, excellent breakfast choices, and alcohol.

We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and had a fabulous time. The menu has something for everyone . Do not miss the Buffalo cauliflower, outstanding. Great beer selection and wonderful service. I would highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you are in the Fishtown area.

Made a reservation directly on their website, showed up that evening 15 minutes early for our reservation and they said they were closed. The incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful manager/owner came out and was extremely rude to us and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Just kept saying “I don’t know what to tell you we turned reservations off for tonight” when we had clearly made a reservation and then just rolled her eyes and walked away. Will not be returning.

Hello Lauren, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry about the confusion regarding service on July 5th. I have been trying to discover what happened and how you were able to make a reservation after 7pm for dinner on the 5th, but have been unable to find you in our reservation system. I am sorry the system allowed you to make a reservation for a time when we would not be able to accommodate you, and I want to address the situation with our reservations system support, so if you are able, can you please forward me your reservation email confirmation or the name the reservation was made under so we can get to the bottom of what happened. I completely understand your frustration and wish there was more we could have done, but when you arrived, our kitchen had already been closed for some time. If you do come back please know that if there is anything that does not meet your standards, one of our Managers would be happy to assist you. Thank you again, With kind regards, Mick Hally, GM

We enjoyed a late breakfast/early lunch one day. Quite impressed, so we returned for drinks and dinner a few days later. Diverse menu selections, friendly professional staff and delicious food. We will return on our next visit.

Great decor and service. Really liked the dark woods and the diverse menu. Something here for everyone. Right by the subway stop. Feels like it is a neighborhood on the rise. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

This was our second visit. Last time we sat outside and loved the atmosphere. Sitting inside was just as enjoyable. Lots of yummy choices and very vegan friendly.

Loved the vegetarian/vegan options, but lots of carnivore food as well. The peach tea is something I'd drink all day!

Seated promptly after a temp check - similar to other reviewers we were seated in a booth with very cold air blasting onto our legs and feet. Appetizer of chicken fingers were tasty, if a bit overdone. I was hoping to cut my tenders to let them cool, but we never got silverware or napkins. Asked bar for napkins and had to wait for waitperson to provide silverware. Ordered chicken salad sandwich (flavor was way to smoky and there was a liberal amount of whole grain mustard on bread). In their defense the menu lists mustard, but when I saw chicken salad sandwich I never imagined mustard on chicken salad. Another ordered a crispy chicken sandwich - good flavor, but breading was soggy. Son ordered cauliflower bites with Buffalo sauce. Cauliflower was not deep fried so it was just kinda mushy. Iced tea and soda are not free refills, one of my pet peeves. If you’re gonna charge $2-3 for a beverage, at least offer one refill. On the positive - French fries were good, lemon iced tea was tasty as was hot green tea. But $100 is a lot to pay for fries and a drink. Also, very different menus for breakfast (til 1), lunch (til 4) and dinner starting at 5. So if you see something on the menu that you like, make sure you’re there at the appropriate time. They won’t make something from the breakfast menu for lunch.

I chose this restaurant as it had gluten free options - I'm also a diabetic and hubby is allergic to sesame. We are a complete nightmare to cater for but we get used to just choosing what we know we can have rather than bother servers too much.
Booked on opentable thinking we just want a quick breakfast before returning to NY and as we were driving thought it would be a quick in and out. I think we were pretty lucky with street parking as we had driven around twice but we managed to get a space within a couple of minutes.
On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to see an enclosed courtyard, we just expected a few tables outside a restaurant, which there are but the space is decorated lovely and you instantly can feel a chilled out vibe - just makes you feel relaxed. Great to witness the careful cleaning in between each seating regardless of how busy they were.
Greeted with a broad smile by a young gentleman out front, I scanned the menu on the QR reader and were led to our table and reminded about the COVID restrictions and time limit of 90 minutes. I noticed the large area is covered, which is great to know in trying to locate restaurants at the moment which could be affected by weather. Perfect.
Hubby had problems with his phone with QR reader so was given a single use menu. We immediately relaxed and we both ordered the Front St breakfast; mine with gf toast and hubby had mushroom bacon, which he said was great. I was tempted to get a cocktail as many options were gluten free, including a gf beer - but I refrained this time - noted for a reservation the next time. Another highlight was the English breakfast tea, which was something we had not seen before so cutely, little hand-wrapped parcels of tea - delicious!
Our server, Alyssa is a wonderfully charming server, incredibly attentive, kind and thoughtful. It was a true pleasure to chat and be served by her and it really set us up for the day, with great food and cheery efficient service. Alyssa is a real asset to the establishment. Thank you and see you again soon.

I was looking for a space for my daughhter's bridal shower for approximately 20 guests. Front Street Cafe was perfect. The room had a seperate bar area and plenty of mingling space. The food was excellent and the space was very inviting. The event coordinator, Ling Phan was very responsive and helpful.

Vegan cheesesteak was absolutely delicious. Best one I’ve ever had. Vegan pumpkin cheesecake for dessert was wonderful, including the soy latte.
Don’t miss this spot!

Recently six of us had Sunday morning brunch. We got seated promptly but our entrees arrived 65 minutes later. Service was just average. The bread pudding was delicious and very filling. The pumpkin pancakes were way too sweet. French fries not crisp. Hamburger was overcooked so all our entrees were held waiting for a correctly cooked burger. Prices on the high side. Bloody Mary tasted more like a virgin mary. I would not recommend for brunch on Sundays.
