A very pleasant meal The menu is extensive with lots of gluten free options. We sat outside in the Indian Summer weather. The serving staff were very friendly.

We booked here based on the reviews, expecting something special which unfortunately it was not. The restaurant only had a few tables occupied yet it took our server quite some time to come over to take our drink/food orders. He was friendly and professional when he got there however. We shared a warm caprese bruschetta which was just ok. Our... More

The food in this LaScala's is fantastic I would recommend this one at 7th and Chestnut sts in Philadelphia I have not been to their other restaurants but I know the one in Philly is wonderful. Their other restaurants in jersey I will have to give them a try but Philly will not disappoint

We were here for dinner with cousins. The food was superb. Service was great. Ciro was excellent, and entertaining. We had Primitivo di Manduria wine on his recommendation. Wonderful choice. I had spaghetti with clams. It had a tasty light sauce. Not a heavy, oily meal. I left well satisfied. My wife had the artichoke appetizer and a side of... More

You can pass on this place. Great location in city however I'm Italian and it doesn't impress me at all. If you're starving ok but if u can go somewhere else, go.

This restaurant is FANTASTIC! We have eaten out for 8 nights while on vacation and La Scala's is and was the best! Great portions, fast service and great wait staff. We had the chicken parm and my wife had the chicken marsala. Can't say enough good about this place. Can't wait to come to Philadelphia again to eat here!

My husband and I were in Philly for the weekend and we were wandering around trying to find a place to eat. Stumbled onto this restaurant Friday night and our dinner was amazing! We had the baked tomato caprese and risotto balls (3) with a marinara sauce for an appetizer and we shared the Veal Saltimbocca. The caprese was amazing.... More

My kids and I happened in here on a Friday night. I probably should have been suspicious that we could get a table with ease. The positives - the bread was good, the waiter was fine (albeit slow), and the location was great. The food was just meh. Nothing exciting and in some cases disappointing. The "grilled artichoke" appetizer wasn't... More

Was walking back from Jeweler's Row and the humidity was getting to us. So we stopped in on a whim. Best move we made that day. Hubby loved the sangria -- and he's really picky about them. We had the calamari to start -- the portion was huge. That can be lunch all by itself. We split a small pizza... More

We were just looking for a place to get out of the rain and happened upon this gem! For starters, they had $5.00 sangria or mimosas. The food was not overpriced, and the food was excellent. The portions are large, so plan on taking home food for your next meal (a great perk). The beet and goat salad was my... More
