This place does not deserve its reputation. The food was mediocre at best. We all did not receive our food at the same time and they made errors on several meals. It was freezing in the restaurant and even after repeated requests for a more comfortable temperature, we were ignored........but the waitress had a heater near her desk. I have... More

My husband and I planned to shop at Tiffany's and have dinner in the city. It was raining so we made a reservation at Nineteen so we could just park and not have to walk outside. Service was wonderful. So attentive and polite. The dining room had a great view and was beautiful. My only compliant was the areas around... More

XIX is a good iconic place for afternoon tea. The service is very good with a friendly hostess that checks in on you. The servers are efficient and the food is delicious. The mini sandwiches and pastries are some of the best and the tea selection is excellent. The interior is a bit dated and feels a bit gutted but... More

If you're in Philly, there are many alternatives for breakfast that are infinitely better. Starbucks for example. XIX stops buffet at 10:30 on Sundays and breakfast stops at 11:00. That's hilarious. Hyatt should get somebody new.

Other than the fact that the entry was a little awkward - we went up an elevator to an unmanned lobby and followed our nose to the entrance, the experience was flawless. The place is beautiful - really elegant. Great for a special dinner. The service was as good as you will get anywhere, warm, free of snooty attitude yet... More

I made reservations to have brunch with friends on a Sunday morning. our reservation was for 10:30 am. we arrived to be told that the standard breakfast buffet ended at 10:30 and the "Sunday Brunch" did not start until 11:30. Thus we were left with the the a la cart menu. Ok so we order, like scrambled eggs, etc. it... More

Room was much smaller than I expected. Location is at the top of the Hyatt. Tables are basically on top of each other. Service was pretty slow and I had to scrounge up silverware from another table. The food was average but portion size was good. Staff seemed friendly but was certainly in no rush. My daughter had the buffet... More

On the top of the Hyatt at the Bellevue, this lovely room has a high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows. Beautiful sunsets! The Continental Buffet has fabulous berries, French pastries, and homemade Granola. The Waffle and the Eggs Benedict were winners too. Dinner in the actual (dark) restaurant was too noisy for us so we stayed in the outer room (where... More
