Such a cute little place. Huge array of interesting flavors, and the best way to describe it is creamy, fresh, delicate, and slightly sweet. It's nothing like the gelato you get at grocery stores or elsewhere. This is the real deal, it's awesome.

A friend introduced me to Capogiro gelato on a trip into Philadelphia, and the flavors upended my belief that the best gelato could be had only in Europe. At the first opportunity I returned with my son, who agreed that Capogiro is the cream that has risen to the top. Better than Rome, better than Barcelona. Every trip to Philly... More

Loved the ice cream. Stracciatella and Fior di Latte are to die for. Perfect place to complement the ice cream with coffee and other pasties as well

I was in town and brought by husband for his first visit here. He is not generally a gelato fan, but he was won over by their wonderful product. The staff was also very friendly and let us try quite a few flavors.

I stopped in here for a quick snack in the middle of my day and was glad I did. The amount and variety of flavors was excellent! I would highly recommend stopping here if you need a quick treat in Philly. The service was top notch, and they let me try as many of the flavors as I wanted. Their... More

After our meal at Little Nonna's, we took a walk for gelato. Stopped at Capogiro, you can sample any flavor you want to try. I had pistachio and it was delicious. There are so many flavors to pick from. Try a few samples and you can get two flavors in the your serving. Enjoy!

Each flavor I tried was as good as the last one! Their hazelnut and pistachio were amazing. Much better than most places who just use artificial flavors. Cups looks small but the ice cream is dense and rich and very satisfying.

Love Capogiro. I never fail to stop by when I visit Philadelphia. Forget chocolate and strawberry. They have the most unusual flavors. My favorite is Lime Cilantro. They will often have carts in Dilworth Park as well.

Let me make this simple: I cannot come within 5 blocks of this place without stopping in. It doesn't matter where I might have just eaten. There is ALWAYS room for gelato. Smooth delectable flavors. I must have the Thai coconut. Then maybe something with chocolate. I'm sure everything is fab. I once gorged myself on 4 large scoops (... More
