Tastes like you're eating the fruit that was used to make the gelato. I come here every time I go to Philadelphia.

This was that one moment when I had a dairy free icecream and didnt long (even if only deep deep down inside) for regular icecream, I didnt have any regrets for as long as I was eating their exceptional Strawberry sorbet. Yum. Need I say more? Its heaven in a tiny, perfectly sized cup.

Stopped here for dessert after dinner at a nearby restaurant. It was our first time, so we were unsure of what flavors we would like. The workers were so friendly and patient with us as we tried many of the flavors. They asked questions and offered suggestions based on our answers. My date and I ended up sharing pecan and... More

Capogiro gets two thumbs up from me. I have a gelato place in St Pete that I love and Capogiro ties for favorite. The pistachio and Stracciatella were delicious. Staff was nice, place was clean, plenty of seating. One small with two flavors and one medium with three flavors plus tip for $14. Worth it to us!

We had just dined kitty-corner at Tredici and our hosts recommended gelato. Cold dairy is about my favorite thing so of course we said yes. My Dear One ordered stracciatella, and it was very good, but it's just chocolate chip and that's not a flavor that does much for me. I combined a scoop of gooseberry and a scoop of... More

We stopped there last weekend after dinner in Philly because our friend insisted we had to try this place out. The interior was clean and spacious. The service was quick and friendly on a busy summer evening. The worst part of the experience was choosing what flavor to get among the enticing and plentiful flavors! I narrowed it down to... More

Trecker all the way across town for this, and it was worth it. I tried a tropical blend of mango, papaya and banana which was so good. My sister had a dark chocolate that was velvety and had a wonderful depth of flavor to it, and my mother had dulce de leche, which she enjoyed as well. We all did... More

The flavors are always clean and fresh. We had taken our grandsons here once last summer. Took them back to see Old City sites and their one desire while in Philly was to return to Capogiro. The place could use a fresh coat of paint.

When we are Center-City Philadelphia looking for a great dessert, we often head for Capogiro. One of the toughest tasks is making a selection from so many delectable possibilities. Fortunately, one can taste to narrow one's choices. The range and variety of Flavors is really extensive. If you are a chocolate-lover, there are numerous possibilities. Fruit Flavors are excellent as... More
