This Ice cream shoppe located at the end of Market St serves wonderful ice-cream. The atmosphere is great, the staff very efficient and friendly. There is a large variety of flavors. Rather then cups the ice cream was served in Chinese food take out containers.

This is the best ice cream -- totally worth the price and the wait in line. We went there 2 times during our 3-day stay in Philadelphia.

Quant ice cream shop in historic area close to Penn's Landing. We went after dinner in the early evening and there were lots of families there enjoying the outdoor seating. Has old fashioned vibe inside with friendly, young staff. Unique flavors such as carrot cake with wonderful cinnamon and carrot throughout. Hand packed into chinese carry out type boxes if... More

This was the perfect place to stop for a snack after touring Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross house, and Elfreth Alley. The ice cream portions are generous, and the floats are delicious. There is not any seating inside so be sure to visit on a nice day (they have a few outside tables) and bring cash.

The Franklin Fountain is so great - from the historical building it's in, to the friendly staff and of course the awesome ice cream and sodas! A staple for any trip to Philly in my opinion! There is always a long line, which can be tough especially in the summer, but they are open late and not as crowded at... More

The best ice cream we ever had! The peach had whole peach slices in it. The chocolate chip was fabulous. The line was not too long. We went on a Wednesday evening.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door and down the street. There are menus outside the door for you to look at while you wait. The staff are dressed in costume to reflect the early 20th century which I thought was adorable. They let you sample ice cream before you buy. I ordered a... More

We went there on Monday. The line wasn't too bad. I've seen it out the door and down the street. We went right into the store. There was about 10 people in front of us. The person who was taking orders stopped us so he could make a special order for a photo shoot. Then he had to restock tons... More

Great location in the historic area of Philly. I had the ginger ice cream and it was delicious. Ordered a small and ate it outside. Enjoyed it so much ordered another small to go. It's cash only so be prepared. While waiting in the short line two sets of customers came in off the street asking where the nearest ATM... More

This ice cream is so delicious! Everyone was friendly. The price is good for the quality. I got chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It was the best I've every had! There was a line but it moved pretty fast. Thank you!
