Walk in sat at bar, waited for the 4 bartender to acknowledge us. When I finally said hi, he never smiled and never made eye contact. So I finally ask do u have a happy hour he said no happy hour here. I said ok and he said nothing else and walk away. I looked at my friend and we... More

We were visiting Philly from Canada and decided to stop in at McGillin's. We read the reviews but I was still shocked at the awesome-ness of this pub! I find myself wishing I could go back there weekly. No place I've been to compares! The food was delicious and cheap. The atmosphere and decor was so fun. The servers were... More

This place was fun crowded and in the holiday spirit. The food was good and ordered up fast. Very crowded but got a table quickly.

I have eaten and made a lot of Reuben's, but this maybe the best I've had in a long long time!! The wing's and Shepherd's pie were also Delicious. The Beer was good and local! Melissa was a great server, very nice! The place was fun and happening!

What's not to love?! I had family visiting from Florida, that used to live in the area. Five of us went there on Saturday for lunch and for old times sake. It's beautifully decorated for Christmas inside. There's so much to look at and I love it's warm and cozy atmosphere. There's a large beer selection although I chose a... More

One of the oldest bars in the country. It sits in an street or you could call it an alley. Classic old fashion bar with great beer selections. They also serve bar food that is very good. Try to get there early as it is a place to be seen and can and will get busy.

Very nice late lunch and craft beer experience. We tried several IPA's and the three of us each had a sandwhich plate. Everything was quite good. I thought their version of French dip was excellent. Overall, a very nice pub experience.

I had googled places that had a decent local beer selection, and McGillin's kept coming up. I decided to go there...twice. Since I was traveling alone, both times I ate (and drank) at the bar. At no time did I spent more than $25 with tip. The beer selection make it worth visiting, and they have some proprietary taps that... More

I wanted to go here for the history but was amazed once I got inside at the incredible atmosphere. Completely decked out for Christmas with the classic music of high school.

Having seen the revues on Trip we just had to see what all the fuss was about so decided to drop in. I must say that I was a bit surprised that the place is down a back street but, you shouldn't judge until we've tried so in we went, and what a nice surprise. The place was buzzing, a... More
