Very unprofessional and the food is not that great. Called to notify them of a mistake in the order, for no reason the person on the phone who I think is the owner, started yelling and cursing on the phone. I was shocked .. That aside, the food was not that great at all .. Especially the lamb shawarma was... More

This is a great place for cheesesteaks! So many things on the menu are also very good. It can get busy sometimes.

The worst food experience I've ever had. I typically go out to eat 4 or 5 times a week, so this really was far below anything I've ever eaten. I went around 8 o'clock on a weeknight. No one was in the restaurant. I ordered a chicken bersnaki. Waited for 20 minutes for my food. I watched them microwave my... More

Let me preface this review by saying that my husband is Muslim and I am not. I had also visited This was the second trip to Philadelphia that we had made together, and we were unable to get cheesesteaks on our first trip. In truth, I think that he had the idea to take a weekend getaway just for this... More

This restaurant has found a great way of combining a Philly classic (the hoagie) with Middle Eastern food, via the amazing chicken maroush sandwich. There's chicken, creamy garlic sauce, pickles, and more all on a hoagie roll. The combo can sound weird but the taste is heavenly. Also excellent: the baba ganoush, falafel, baklava...okay basically everything I've tried here has... More

The food at Saad's is incredible; one of the best halal places to indulge in across the country! I had the chicken maroosh and it was outright spectacular! I also tried the philly cheese steak which was nothing less of magnificent on its own either. Definitely try Saad's if you're in philly and you're looking for a mouthwatering halal place... More

Be careful what you order here! You will get an absolutely massive amount of tasty food for your money! A meal is really two meals! Really nice people. Nice atmosphere. Nice clientele. Halal. Bit of a rough neighborhood, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Go to the counter, say "hi" to Saad (he's usually there). Saad is an amazing fellow, friendly and warm toward *everyone.* If you go there more than a few times, and if you introduce yourself, he will likely remember you by name. I have been eating there for over two decades (maybe more), and it has *never* been a disappointment.... More
