This restaurant has found a great way of combining a Philly classic (the hoagie) with Middle Eastern food, via the amazing chicken maroush sandwich. There's chicken, creamy garlic sauce, pickles, and more all on a hoagie roll. The combo can sound weird but the taste is heavenly. Also excellent: the baba ganoush, falafel, baklava...okay basically everything I've tried here has... More

The food at Saad's is incredible; one of the best halal places to indulge in across the country! I had the chicken maroosh and it was outright spectacular! I also tried the philly cheese steak which was nothing less of magnificent on its own either. Definitely try Saad's if you're in philly and you're looking for a mouthwatering halal place... More

Be careful what you order here! You will get an absolutely massive amount of tasty food for your money! A meal is really two meals! Really nice people. Nice atmosphere. Nice clientele. Halal. Bit of a rough neighborhood, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Go to the counter, say "hi" to Saad (he's usually there). Saad is an amazing fellow, friendly and warm toward *everyone.* If you go there more than a few times, and if you introduce yourself, he will likely remember you by name. I have been eating there for over two decades (maybe more), and it has *never* been a disappointment.... More

I came here last week with my friend who grew up in Palestine and we both loved the food! He got the lamb plate and I got the lamb shawarma and both were really, really good (and super filling). We also got baklava and it was quite good as well. The food is cheap, portions are huge, and food is... More

This is well run efficient sandwich shop machine. I ordered the maroosh lamb sandwich. It was very fresh and filled me up. My wife ordered a grilled chicken salad and she loved it. The fries were good too. Also the hummos was fresh and tasted excellent. Prices are a little higher; however, the portions are huge! I definitely would recommend!

We ordered Chicken Kabob and lamb Shawarma plates. Although the Kabob was not Kabob and the shawarma was not shawarma, but both were tasty. The Kabob is grilled, this was cooked. Shawarma is a slo a vertically grilled meat, this was cooked lamb, very tender and tasty. Quantities were huge and price reasonable. Customer service was excellent. We also ordered... More

Food tastes good and the menu is clearing showing most of the items with its description. The price is reasonable too. I just didnt like the seats and its tables.
