Asking the locals, Jim's won by far over other names such as Pat's or Geno's as their favorite place to get a cheesesteak. And we were not disappointed. There's a fast moving line, and simple menu on the wall in front of you. Open kitchen...More

We were sightseeing in downtown Philadelphia and our tour guide recommended this place. After the tour we decided to stroll downtown and try it. We were not disappointed it was a really good steak sandwich. We loved it!

Jim's was recommended to us by the hotel staff. It was a good choice. The meat was tender, the rolls were so soft. We had the steak sub with everything except the cheese. It was a very good sub.

The Barnes is on the parkway about a 2.5 mile walk to us. I would grab a cab or Uber/Lyft.

We are a couple miles away on South St. toward the Delaware River. A thirty minute walk or a 8 minute cab ride.
