Reliable restaurant with an old school kind of charm, located inside the Hyatt at the Bellevue lobby. Menu is straightforward steakhouse fare and prices are comparable to other steak spots in the city. Food was good but service was spotty and regulars seemed to get much more personalized attention. Another odd thing was palpable discord between some of the waitstaff.... More

This is the perfect place to have a long relaxing sit down dinner in the city. The food and service are exceptional. Its also a great place to get an exotic cocktail from experienced bar tenders. I recommend stopping in even just for a cocktail.

My husband and I were entertaining a guest from California and wanted to share with him the “best” steak restaurant in the city. Our waiter, Randy, was wonderful; however, the elderly busboy was not. He kept hovering over the table and took dishes away before the table was finished dining. Also for dessert he kept suggesting that we get the... More

One of favorite places to dine when in the city. Food is always good, well portioned with great drinks. Service is always friendly and consistent. Great location while going to shows, etc.

Lovely restaurant with traditional steakhouse fare. Knowledgable staff, very good wine list and well prepared food. This is not a cutting edge, trendy restaurant, but a solid citizen.

Staff seemed attentive at first then faded to almost zero service. Lobster was like really expensive cardboard if you enjoy eating that. All sides were good so was bread and company.

Most diners at The Palm are return customers, which says much about its appeal. Their signature and best dishes are traditional steakhouse fare. We recently dined with friends and had a wonderful time. Great service and terrific atmosphere. Yes, it is pricey, but worth it.

We are regular customers of the Palms (Palm, Palm Too, Palm Tree) in NYC. We have been always satisfied with both the food and the service. So, early October, when we were in Philadelphia and were looking for a steakhouse I was delighted to see that there was also a Palm in the city. I immediately booked a table. I... More

I took a group to the Palm in Philly for a business dinner. We reserved a private room for the evening since we had some things to discuss over dinner. The room was very comfortable and the service was quick and attentive, but the food was average at best. I can't say there was anything memorable about the dining experience.... More
