Went in and it was packed, so we waited in the to go line and sat in the extra market seating. Food was great and a good price. Went back the next morning waited to sit at the counter tried something different. Everything was great.

While in Philadelphia, we wandered the Reading Terminal Market in awe of the myriad of available foods and items for sale. It was late morning and we had not had breakfast. We spotted two bar-seats at this busy place. This is no nonsense; order, small talk neighbors, served quickly, eat, move along. Waitress was busy, but outgoing and friendly. I... More

The service here was great. The food was good but since no one can cook as good as my mamma, I was not impressed with the chicken pot pie but my son loved his Ruebin

I found this place on the Food Network website and had to try it. The hot apple dumpling was hot and fresh, for $3.51 it is a must have. You will have to wait in line for a little while as this is a very popular place.

Had brunch here on a day visiting the Terminal Market - just what I'd expect from a diner-type joint - quick and efficient service at a price what won't bust any wallet.

On vacation its sometimes hard to find down home cooking. This place had it - I got the turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy - left off the dressing and cranberries...it was all so good!!! The potatoes were REAL!

I visited Reading Terminal Market on a recent Thursday morning and tried out the Dutch Eating Place. There was a short wait to get a seat at the bar but it was worth it! The blueberry pancakes were the special of the day but I opted for eggs and sausage with rye toast. (Make sure to get some toast to... More

This "best breakfast option at the reading market" serves, amongst others, a nondescript version of a 2-am-diner omelette with the cardboard-related "home fries" along with other I suspect suboptimal versions of the simple food. I mean it's food...but with only a tiny amount of taste. Overall- poor.

My wife and I were staying across the street from the market and wanted to grab breakfast close by. We waited 10 minutes to sit at the counter and were served by a friendly staff. The food was very average. The apple cinnamon french toast my wife ordered was OK but there was no evidence of apple or an apple... More

Reading market is full of breakfast options so I was very pleased with my choice to eat at "Dutch eating place". I took the cheese and mushroom omelette which was fantastic aside with the best crispy bacon I ever had. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast in reading market in Philly.
