This was a basic, no frills, delicious food for the locals. This isn't your tourist trap and doesn't have the tourist frills either but if you want a decent pizza or cheesesteak then check this place out!

Visited this small family owned fast food place many times over years; never disappoints... Counter staff friendly and helpful to out-of-towners who do not know their hoagie from 'cheez-steak. Order the standard, with provelone (not cheez-wizz) and anything else you would like with it; do...not forget the condiments ( mustard, chilli etc) Well worth a visit.More

I'am italian and I travel frequently in the USA for work, I am glad to have found a 'taste of Italy'. Of course cheesesteaks don't come from Italy but the way CHEF Mario makes them brings my taste buds back to homestyle italian flavours. I appreciate that they clearly make their own eggplant Parmesan but this sandwich as you can clearly see in the photo had none in it and the roll wasnt even that fresh, I would rather have a restaurant say that they are low on eggplant...Parmesan than give me none in my sandwich and charge me 8 bucksMore

Absolutely love their pizza 🍕! Great cheese steaks as well as everything else I tried. Except the meatballs. Sorry guys, they weren't all that. Friendly employees and fast service.

The wonderful thing about this establishment is the choices. There truly is something for everyone. It was clean, well staffed and had a good amount of seating. None of us ordered pizza (sorry no review on that). We ordered a chicken salad, chicken strips, spaghetti,...chef salad, shrimp salad and my favorite, fried zucchini. Everything was great. Service was friendly especially the sweet young lady taking our order. Very nice and answered all our questions. A very nice afternoon.More

I was working in downtown Philadelphia recently and needed a good takeout place. The locals recommended Dolce, and I was really glad they did. The delivery was quick, the prices were very reasonable, and my sandwich was great! I got the chicken cordon bleu, and...it was almost too big. I'd definitely order a sandwich from here again.More

Since it was my mom and I's first trip to Philly, she really wanted to try a cheese steak. I was more in the mood for pizza, however. We found this restaurant in a "lunch and coffee guide" provided by the Mutter Museum. My mom's...cheese steak lived up to the hype, the ham and pineapple pizza was good, and the California chicken pizza was very good! I would go back next time I visit Philly. Also, the workers speak in Italian, so you know it's authentic.More

Besides cheesesteaks, to me the other great thing in the area is pizza and dolce carini did not disappoint. They have a variety of slices available if you don't want a whole pie and it's very affordable. I'm a meat guy so both of mine...had plenty of that, but the veggies looked good as well.More

After the first cheese steak sandwich recommended by a local friend, I went back twice. Loved it every time. I liked the atmosphere also. I tried other stuff with the sandwich, it was very good, but the taste of the steak was awesome.
