I'm all about the food and this delivered! We had a larger group and they were able to accommodate us right away as we went a bit later in the evening. We shared several appetizers and entrees and nothing disappointed.

Given the reviews we expected better. Drinks choice good - including a number of craft beers The menu looked pretty good However the starter of bruscheta was not enjoyed by us The Margerita pizza was OK - nothing special The Sicilian salad was acceptable though the lettuce leaves looked battered and tired and the dressing minimal It worked as a... They have a great variety of drinks to choose from. You start with some bread that is perfectly baked. We ordered the artisanal four cheese pizza and it tasted perfect. The crust was surprisingly delicious. Will return!

This is a must-stop place every time I visit Philly. I stuff myself silly every time because I always have to have pizza, sometimes a salad, and the restaurant serves complimentary homemade bread, served with olive oil and herbs. And of course, you have to order a local brew to go along with the coal-fired pizza. Just THE best.

“Everything you see I owe to spaghetti.” ― Sophia Loren Located on the 1700 block of Walnut Street is a gem of an Italian restaurant, Pietro's Coal Oven Pizza. Although the entrance, which features sidewalk dining at a handful of tables, appears small, once you enter you will be surprised how large the space is and how far back it... More

Wonderful flavors! The Baked Ziti was superb! So was the Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chicken Parmesan and pizza! Be sure to order the "small" sizes and you'll still need a doggy bag.

I had the caprese salad and the Mediterranean Salad. Big portions for 1 person - I couldn't finish both. Both were very good. Service was great as well.

High quality food and attentive service, in modern spacious restaurant. Portion sizes are large and most everyone takes leftovers away. Very enjoyable evening.

Their burrata with arugula and beets was very good. The description of their coal oven pizzas is very accurate and delicious as well. We ordered too much food between the two of us (the appetizer and the pizza on a very hot day), but the pizza made great leftovers three days later, which is admirable. There’s outdoor seating and it’s... More
