I grew up in a big Italian family and Isgro has, by far, the most amazing ricotta cookies I have ever had. Indulge in a Pesca con Crema, you will not be disappointed.

Isgro is an amazing old world Itailian pastry shop. Forget about all the other Italian bakers in NY and Philly. This is the only place to get rum cream cakes and cannoli. Nothing is sicken sweet as they use ricotta cheese for their filling. Try the ricotta lemon cookie. Just the best. Isgros only uses the best ingredents. If you... More

We tried several different cookies and loved them. The service was quick and friendly and the food was fresh. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and pick up dessert.

Isgro has been making delicious and beautiful bake goods since 1904. I always stop by for cannolis and end up getting other baked delights. It's a must go every time I am in Philly and I always take a box of goodies home on the plane.

I cannot, and I mean CANNOT rave enough about this place. It's beyond me how this place has any negative feedback at all, but take it from me, ignore them. First off, my background. I'm fat and I love cannolis - enough said. Oddly enough, I finally decided to try Isgros after reading a post about Termini Bros on facebook.... More

Another must stop in Philly. They make authentic Italian pastries like I remember as a kid. The cannolis , I could eat half a dozen at a time. Everything is made from scratch and it shows. NO wonder the place has been around for 100 years. You will not be dissappointed.it"s not cheap , but neither are the ingredients ..... More

Came for the cannoli - it was quite good.. The Italian market area can be a bit sketchy but it's well worth the walk. A must go to place for Italian treats in Philly.

We picked up a ricotta pie. The closest I've ever had to my grandma's. Light and airy with a hint if lemon. I'm glad I don't live here or I'd stop in way to much. This bakery will have any and all italian pastries that your heart desires. No coffee served but Anthony's is just around the corner (see review).

We were staying in an Airbnb close by so we decided to stop into Isgro. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was a gem! We tried the cannolis as well as the pignolis (pinenut cookies) and they were both fresh and delicious! We would highly recommend Isgro if you are in the neighborhood for great Italian pastries.

Great stop while visiting the Italian Market. It is one of the oldest running bakeries in the area and the pastries are well worth the wait.
