We come from the burbs for these delectable treats! Nothing even comes close to these heavenly treats... Whether it be the cannoli or the the Italian rum cake or the Italian cookies (so many varieties) you are guaranteed to be hooked for life with the first bite! At the holidays it truly is an adventure, where everyone in line knows... More

This is the best cannoli place ANYWHERE!! The shells stay crisps for days and all the fillings are perfect. You want cream puffs? No place like it! Italian Rum cake, ordered in any combo of different fillings. My favorite is all ricotta cheese. Cookies are all fabulous and you can never go wrong with picking assorted mini pastries that many... This is my favorite cannoli spot in the city. Also love the Rum baba. The mixed Italian cookies are always a hit as well

Take-out bakery only for famous cannoli, which they can fill if you are eating imminently, or they give you a container bursting with one of two choices for filling -- traditional or mascarpone/chocolate chip -- with the shells on the side in large bakery box for you to fill just prior to eating -- to maintain their crispness. It's rich,... More

We stopped in here because staff at Italian market info store said this is where the Pope got his pastries when he visited. Very clean, friendly. Creme brelee and Papual snores were out of this world. Cannolis were good. It was nice to have real Italian pastries.

This place is so dangerous if your eyes are a strong influence on your taste buds and your wallet! Pound cake rivals my own; ricotta cannolis are the best I've ever had; anything you try will not dissappoint!

I grew up in a big Italian family and Isgro has, by far, the most amazing ricotta cookies I have ever had. Indulge in a Pesca con Crema, you will not be disappointed.

Isgro is an amazing old world Itailian pastry shop. Forget about all the other Italian bakers in NY and Philly. This is the only place to get rum cream cakes and cannoli. Nothing is sicken sweet as they use ricotta cheese for their filling. Try the ricotta lemon cookie. Just the best. Isgros only uses the best ingredents. If you... More

We tried several different cookies and loved them. The service was quick and friendly and the food was fresh. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and pick up dessert.

Isgro has been making delicious and beautiful bake goods since 1904. I always stop by for cannolis and end up getting other baked delights. It's a must go every time I am in Philly and I always take a box of goodies home on the plane.
