What a disappointment, we were enjoying a lovely dinner and then a cockroach crawled out of the woodwork into the wall. We were mortified and notified the staff. They did not seem startled or surprised by the bug. Instead the waiter tried to say this is not on their control and things like this happen. At the end the manager... More

Great place to eat and have a margarita. Friendly staff and good food. The Lola margarita is one of the best I ever had. I would live to make it to their late night dancing sometime

This is a great spot that has stood the test of time. A great staff that is welcoming and knowledgeable continues to impress. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant. We ordered several cocktails and all were pleased with all of them. The food was authentic, well prepared, and were nice sized portions. We had various empanadas, two ceviches, and guacamole... Great food and great atmosphere. Try the smoothies with water- so refreshing! Everything on the menu is great but the lechón rostisado was awesome.

Great place to get a great margarita and cuban inspired food! Margaritas are authentic and not full of syrup. My dinner was a Seafood Paella which was loaded with lobster, shrimp, calamari, mussels, and sausage and served with a saffron rice along with black beans and plantains. Food was seasoned to perfection and was more than enough for dinner. Service... More

Service was excellent. Great variety of Latino American food. The plantain Bruscceta guacamole and ceviche were excellent. The paella, although it was a very generous serving and plenty of meat, it was dried and the chicken over cooked. It needed flavor too. The monitors were good and the pitcher was well worth the price. We had reservations and the table... More

Was in Philly for two short days and wanted to experience some good place without having to Uber to go there. Found this place on TA and it was a pleasure for the moment that they called two days in advance to confirm my reservation and I discovered that I had booked for the wrong night. A good laugh and... Ate dinner hear with family while visiting Philadelphia. This is a very busy restaurant with a good vibe. It has outdoor seating and is very attractive. We started with a round of drinks, which were excellent. Moved on to guacamole which was so good we ordered a second serving! I had the Lomo Saltado which is the signature dish of... More

Went here on friends' recommendations. We were very disappointed. Service was slow but friendly. We started with the Tostones Bruschetta which arrived lukewarm and got colder which did nothing for the flavor. I ordered the Paella Valenciana for one and my husband order the Ropa Vieja. The main issue was with the paella. The rice was clumpy and had no... More

Kept us waiting for 15 minutes for the table despite having booked, only to then have to get the table ready when we were taken over to it. Lovely food and Bloody Marys though and great service once we were sitting down. Not cheap but nowhere is for Brits in the USA since the calamitous Brexit decision!

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
