I have visited Mixto every trip to Philly for at least 5+ years. A wonderful restaurant serving Cuban specialties. The bread served at the start of the meal is like nothing I've ever had...... SO yummy! Great night out for a properly priced meal. A vibrant bar scene as well with some great signature drinks.

We visited this restaurant more by accident. Or maby not ... we passed by the restaurant and it stood out from all the others we have beenlooking at in a search for dinner. The athmosphere is lovely, though a littleloud. The food is great ( i got the shrimps) and we had some great wine with our dinner.

Great place to come with the family or even on a date! I came here back in March and I'm glad I found this place. I recommend the Mofongo and ask for MayoKetchup (pink sauce) and the Pechuga de Pollo. And for kids their chicken tenders are A-MAZE-ING. I will always be eating here whenever I come to Philly. Such... More

To start the place has a really fab feel, from the interior to the patio. The service is fantastic - always on top of refills and making sure you have everything you need. I came here for dinner with a friend, we started off with a pitcher of the Mango margarita which was pretty awesome and strong. We also ordered... More

We were riding bikes down Pine st. when we saw this place. Decided to grab a bite for brunch. Great food with a bit of a kick(very flavorful). Staff was very friendly and food was well presented and super tasty. Prices were very reasonable for being in city. Perfect portions so not to get too full. I would highly recommend... More

With the Olympics looming, we found ourselves in Center City ,(Philadelphia) and close to Mixto, an authentic Central and South American Restaurant. A beautiful, tree lined old town Philadelphia street. Everything from Brazil's National Drink, the Caipirinha, heavy on sugarcane rum, mint, and mulled lime. I had ,"Ropa " a stewed short rib of beef. Stewed in tomatoes, onions, and... More

This place was incredible! Please try the fried cheese...it melts in your mouth! I had an egg dish with chirizo and cheese that was fantastic. My friend had the Cuban breakfast and loved it. The sweet plantains were extremely good. BTW, the bacon bloody Mary's were amazing!!!

Mixto is a great bet for tasty latin american/caribbean food in a high-er end setting. It's great for dates, special occasions, and nice dinners. They also accommodate large groups well and put out some really good prix fixe brunches. Generally speaking, I've found their cocktails on the weaker side, with the exception of their frozen margaritas, which are fantastic. My... More

We came to Mixto after a long drive in from Pittsburgh, taking an unintentional one hour detour into the darkest depths of New Jersey. The restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. It was an extremely pleasant discovery. The front windows were open to the street, tables lined the edge of the sidewalk, making me think of similar... More

Description
Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
