Everything here is delicious! I have gone for dinner and recently for brunch; everything was tasty. I would highly recommend Mixto and I am a foodie.

A night out without the child started right at Mixto. Although families with children are clearly welcome it still has a romantic atmosphere and wonderful ambience. Not too dark and not too noisy. The service was prompt and fast without making us feel rushed. The menu has a lot of variety and traditional favorites. The portions were generous without being... More

We visit Philadelphia regularly to see family and friends. We always try to get down to this restaurant on 14th and Pine. They have South American food at great prices and taste. Have always been for lunch. We never miss this place on our trips

Jet lagged after almost 24 hours of travel Mixto worked out well for a late Saturday evening meal. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were just the right mix of social, friendly but not in my face. It was great to sit and zone out while people watching, perfect sleep deprived entertainment. I guess I was hungry, because... More

We stopped here on Friday Night for a late bite while strolling the city and we were very pleased. Our bartender was fast, friendly and happily suggestive on some apps. We got the Ceviche Trio and Scallops with asparagus risotto which was great. Be sure to ask for extra plantain chips with the Ceviche!

We started with two types of empanadas (cheese and beef) and chicharrones. The chicharrones were excellent. The empanadas were not that good. My fiance had the Ropa Vieja. She enjoyed it. My soon to be brother-in-law and I had the Vaca Frita con Maduros. It was pretty good. His wife had the special and thought it was just ok. The... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and was a great place to eat. The food was excellent, and the service top-notch. Cuban/American food is not overly spiced, so you don't have to worry about burning your taste buds. It's a modern, neighborhood restaurant.

Loved this restaurant which we just stumbled upon. There was a great buzz about the place and the food was very good. I had the Pollo Mareado and I loved it, it was accompanied by red beans and rice. It was a big portion of food. My friend ordered the special which was Sea Bass and was also delighted with... More

The ambiance is wonderful... Beautiful outdoor seating, everything was left to be desired sadly. That $2 up charge for a bacon bloody... Is 1/2 a piece of bacon somewhere in your drink. I went simple with breakfast and got the American breakfast with poached eggs and I asked for a side of avocado. Well I got hard boiled eggs (as... More

Title says it all. Great menu options of both food & beverages! Several sidewalk tables also. The veggie side was freshly grilled & wonderfully seasoned.

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
