I ordered the cucumber mojito and my friend ordered the mixto margarita which was huge for 14 dollars. Both were excellent drinks. We shared the salmon with garlic spinach which surprisingly was also very tasty (I usually think salmon is salmon, how could it taste any different? It was phenomenal! The guacamole with plantain chips also was very tasty, although... More

I went with friends for a birthday celebration and it was very good; food, drinks, ambient. A little pricey, but worth it. Always wanting to come back!!! I encourage people who haven't been here to try it. I advise to make your reservation around 9pm because it is very loud if you go earlier.

We really enjoyed Mixto we went for Valentine day. We decided to have 3 appetizers instead of dinner. The appetizers were great. We also had Mojitos that were really good. I would definitely recommend Mixto in Philadelphia. You won't be disappointed. We will be going back.

Came here with friends and the food was outstanding! Service was very poor. Took 25 minutes to get a drink. But thankfully the food made up for it!! Recommended

Having had several great lunches and dinners at Mixto we decided to try breakfast on a Sunday. Great choice! At about 10 a.m. we actually had to wait 10 minutes - you can make a reservation which we'll do next time. The Colombian omelet is hugely filling and the breakfast burrito was good too. The usual brisk but efficient service.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and my last visit may bring that to an end. The major issue was the service. Our waiter seemed to be in a coma, mumbling and never breaking the smallest of a smile. They always bring Cuban bread to the table, that never happened. The food was decent but no where... More

The food was varied, tasty and reasonably priced. However we could not get our waiter to return to our table after the main meal was completed and we wanted to order desert. We finally flagged another waiter to ask for our check after 1/2 wait. There are too many other good places to eat in Philadelphia with decent table service.... More

A friend took me out for brunch and our meal was just delicious! We shared and I am so glad we did! She had breakfast tostadas. They were fresh and delectable. I had a Costa Rican breakfast with sausage. I ate every morsel. The fried cheese and plantains on the plate were cooked to perfection. Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's were... More

What a disappointment, we were enjoying a lovely dinner and then a cockroach crawled out of the woodwork into the wall. We were mortified and notified the staff. They did not seem startled or surprised by the bug. Instead the waiter tried to say this is not on their control and things like this happen. At the end the manager... More

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
