Excellent food, with options from all over Latin America. Waitstaff was excellent, and prompt. Portions were a average size; not too small, not too large. For families with young children, I recommend booking for about 1700 or 1730. It starts to get much louder around...1830.More

Service was terrible. Veronica was a very cold host. She messed up my order and when I told her she said there was nothing she can do and the kitchen was closing. Not even an attempt to discount the bill for the inconvenience. My husband...ordered a drink and she didn’t even wait for me to tell her what drink I wanted, she just brought my husband his drink meanwhile my drink was completely empty. Very disappointed with the service, which ruined the entire experience of celebrating my graduation dinner after traveling over from NY.More

We came after seeing the ballet and in festive mood, and also good recommendations from friends. We decided on an assortment of Appetizers to share. Guacamole with Plantain Chips, Trio de Ceviche, Camarones al Ajillo. Everything was delicious. Then a Main Dish to share: Ropa...Vieja . We were so full with the appetizers that we only tried it, very good. Two sides come with it, Rice(yellow / vegetable) and Maduros. Plenty of meat to share and take home. A Tres Leches as dessert. Delicious. Drinks were a Chilean Red Blend, a Spicy Mango Margarita & Mango Juice-all good. Service was friendly. We had a good time and plan to return.More

We were discriminated against as soon as we walked into the restaurant, they never brought out our appetizers, the margaritas were so bitter that we had to ask for lime juice, and the hostess charged us for masks but not two other couples. In addition,...they let a party of 12 walk maskless through the whole restaurant. Had to speak to 3 managers and after speaking to a manager (Mercy) she had said they are Latino so they normally get discriminated against. Definitely will never will be going back after such disrespect from management and will be sharing the experience with family and friends.More

One of my favorites! Food and drinks don’t disappoint, ever! Only thing that’s a hassle is the parking, would def advise Uber/Lyft or catching the train and walking. My drink: tropical mojito (their mojitos are great) Appetizers: empanadas, Maduros rellenas Meal: scallops and I substituted...the risotto & mushrooms with yellow rice . Everything met my expectations per usual.More

Simply the best service and food during our stay in Philly. Amazing mofongo great tilapia and tender pork chops. Pair that with a wonderful setting and you have a great night. The staff work hard here seem to love what they do I wish they...were in Fort Lauderdale. Best meal all weekend. Thank youMore

Mixto is really something special. Starting from the physical ambiance--sidewalk seating under trees and umbrellas--to the superb dishes and suave Latino music, it is topped off by such an exquisite taste.

Came here last week randomly for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. We were seated immediately even though we didn't have a reservation and our waiter came over as soon as we were seated. We ordered margaritas, empanadas, chicken soup and tostones bruschetta...as appetizers. For our entrees we got arroz con pollo and arroz con camarones. The portion sizes were filling and all of our dishes were flavorful.More

Went for dinner during Phila restaurant week. I thought I had a reservation from Open table, (they are listed but tables no longer available) so apparently they no longer participate. They are listed on the Phila restaurant week website for dinner, but they do not...participate in that either. Surprise 2nd red flag. Was surprised that they had plenty of open tables despite us suddenly not having a reservation- third red flag. Food was very bland - not representative of their culture in any way. Party of two and separate check for our friend party of one - each had MANDATORY 18% gratuity already printed and figured in (their loss as we usually tip 20%) - who puts mandatory tip for party of 1 or two? red flag 4. And no coffee refills on plain black coffee - this place is a loser. I think people come because the prices are cheap - well, you get what you pay for.More

My wife and I came here for a brunch reservation after Valentine’s Day. We loved the atmosphere and the food! She had the Argentinian Breakfast (the steak was really good). I had the Cuban breakfast. Being part Cuban, I felt like I was having back...in Miami at a Cuban restaurant. Although the Moro wasn’t anything special, overall I liked my meal. We also had café con leche and passion fruit smoothies, both of which we loved. We will definitely come back to try their dinner menu.More

This was our 2nd time dining at Mixto. The food is delicious and fairly priced. My husband and son had the steak tips and loved them. Very flavorful. I had the scallops. They were also very tasty, I only wished that I had a few...more. The place was crowded but the servers moved quickly so that food was served quickly. My only recommendation is to make the sangria less sweet. It was too sweet for me. Too much fruit juice not enough wine. Great place!More

SO GOOD. I’ve been hearing about this place (and their happy hour) for months so I was happy to finally visit with My cousins during restaurant week. Reservation was for 6pm; I arrived around 5:20 and was still seated within minutes (which was surprising but...hey, lucky me/us). Although the menu for restaurant week is shorter than the normal menu it’s still all delicious and portioned wonderfully (quality is good too). Their mojito is awesome. Service was great; I appreciated that everything was still up to par and we were treated with the same attentiveness and respect as someone ordering from the regular menu. I had the churrasco colombiano for my entree and pudin de pan for dessert. I also had their maduros and tostones bruschetta (not photographed).More
