The ambiance is wonderful... Beautiful outdoor seating, everything was left to be desired sadly. That $2 up charge for a bacon bloody... Is 1/2 a piece of bacon somewhere in your drink. I went simple with breakfast and got the American breakfast with poached eggs and I asked for a side of avocado. Well I got hard boiled eggs (as... More

Title says it all. Great menu options of both food & beverages! Several sidewalk tables also. The veggie side was freshly grilled & wonderfully seasoned.

Great place, Food Excellent, Atmosphere Excellent, Service Excellent. Favorite is the Palm Salad add the Grilled Chicken and you have a meal and more. Always made sure to have a reservation when in philly. So not real sure about just doing a walk in. Love Cuban and this is the place.

What a charming place! The staff was very attentive & friendly. The guac & plantains was awesome, with two fisted margheritas and cappucinos. Salads were fresh and innovative, not your run of the mill lettuce w/egg & shrimp. We had two rice dishes... One with shrimp, the other chicken, sausage n' olives... If I wasn't sure mamma would disapprove, plate... More

The most important part of any restaurant is the food and the food at Mixto is very good. In fact all or the dinners we had on a recent visit were very good. However, the restaurant can be very noisy. We were seated near a bridal party that was screeching so loudly the sounds and vibrations seemed to go right... More

Was in Philly for vacation and Mixto was a block away from where we were staying, so had to try it. It has an eclectic menu of Latin American food and was so good we went back twice! 1st night there was for drinks and appetizers, seated downstairs with a good view of the sidewalk for people watching. They have... More

I have visited Mixto every trip to Philly for at least 5+ years. A wonderful restaurant serving Cuban specialties. The bread served at the start of the meal is like nothing I've ever had...... SO yummy! Great night out for a properly priced meal. A vibrant bar scene as well with some great signature drinks.

We visited this restaurant more by accident. Or maby not ... we passed by the restaurant and it stood out from all the others we have beenlooking at in a search for dinner. The athmosphere is lovely, though a littleloud. The food is great ( i got the shrimps) and we had some great wine with our dinner.

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
