Was in watching a sporting event. Was malisceously pushed out of the way by a rude waitress. Told the Head bartender about the incident and was belittled by my complaint. Place is nothing more than a over flow frat house that’s dirty. Other places at...More

I have now visited Paddy Whacks South Street location twice and the second trip was worst than the first. That is not to say the first trip was good. The food is way below average and the tables are filthy. During my first visit I...More

The food is OK but the service is really bad. A lot of mistakes in our orders, slow service... The food is ok, nothing to talk about, but missing a lot of traditional Irish food.

It doesn't have the authentic Irish pub feel, but it does have the Authentic Irish-American Sports Pub feel, which isn't a bad thing. Good Clean pub for a pint of brew. Irish Pale ales are pretty hip in America.

The location and atmosphere of this restaurant/bar are good. The beer was very cold. The servers were attentive and friendly. My mistake was wanting a bowl of chili on a cold rainy evening. It had to be the worst chili I've ever eaten. There was...More

The baked potato soup was outstanding, salad was very generous, Philly cheese steak was very good. Service was good. They even had sweet iced tea. Bathrooms weren't easily accessible and music was a bit loud, but otherwise a great place to dine.

There was nothing great or bad about this bar. It seemed like an average neighborhood bar, with average prices for a bar in Philadelphia.

After waiting 15 minutes (not a problem) for a rare burger and a medium-rare burger, our server brought us two well-done burgers. She apologized and said the cook wouldn't cook a rare burger. When we said we didn't want it, the manager came over and...More

Open since May 2004, Paddy Whacks is Northeast Philly's favorite Irish Sports Pub. Our laid back neighborhood spot is popular for casual meals, happy hour specials and late night fun. During football season, crowds line up along the bar to watch one of our HDTVs. On Fridays and Saturdays, our house DJ spins all of your party music. Local bands take the stage all weekend long during happy hour. Our menu includes Irish favorites like Sheppard's pie and fish and chips, plus wings, pizza, and other pub fare. Our daily lunch special is a local favorite. Paddy Whacks is available for private parties and charity events. Our private events space holds up to 200 people comfortably and we have a variety of food and drink packages to accommodate your needs.
