Love to support family run businesses but this one was just average! It's cash only! It was hard to sit down as the dining area was small. The philly cheese steak was 10.50 and it was small (smaller than a subway footling and double the price. It was good but it was not great! I was really expecting more after... More

Dinner. Great sandwiches. I had the Mia's Salad and loved it. The Godfather and Pizza Cheesesteak sandwich were a hit too. It was very close to Independence Hall.

I've lived in Philly all my life, and for years this was my place to take out of towners for the best cheese steak. Forget about long lines at Jim's or going out of the way to Pat's. I went yesterday for the first time in about 4 years, and I was so disappointed by the outcome. The portion was... More

Where can you find exceptional deli in a family run business? Campo's in Philadelphia. Campo's has a national reputation, so when I was in Philadelphia I made it a point to seek them out. I was not disappointed. The food is exceptional. The selection of local sodas was unexpected and wonderful. The cannoli was among the best I've ever had... More

We heard from MANY people that this was one of the best places to stop and try an original Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich. HUGE disappointment!! The meat was chewy, the cheese was almost non-existent and the girl who took our order was just plain rude. I was sad that this was the place we went to try something authentic. Oh... More

We had two of "The Works" Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Mine was filling. My wife wrapped half of hers and gave it to a guy around the corner who claimed to be homeless and hungry but stashed the sandwich in a pack down the block and kept on begging. The entire front window of the restaurant opens so you get... More

Loved loved loved Campo's. The owner was there and took time to tell us about his family from Sicily and showed us pictures. The food was great, we had the steakcheese and the works. Prices are average but not cheap. You can do cheaper but not better. Also right down one block you can have ice-cream at Franklin's Fountain (another... More

Great cheesesteak and subs. Super friendly, too. Beware, though...cash only. They do have an ATM on site, though.
