Located in Northern Liberties area, great place to hang out with friends. Had the infamous Chicken Pie and Pork of July Empanadas which were both delicious! Paired it with the Tired Hands Stop Today Porter. The Porter has a hint of coffee taste to it and I recommend it if you love your coffee. Service was good and the crowd... More

We learned of this place on DDD. Guy featured the chicken pie and it did not disappoint. It is loaded with juicy chicken, vegetables, no gravy, and wrapped in a great tasting flaky crust. Beware, it is piping hot when you get it and takes a while for it to cool down. We also had the crab sandwich which was... More

Had a great fathers day dinner along with a sons birthday. The drum sticks are a great choice, delicious. Creme brûlée was a great dessert to end the night.

One of the most delicious meals I've ever had – the kielbasa and sauerkraut are phenomenal. The staff were friendly and helpful, but gave us our space. We were able to sit right down on a Thursday night before seeing a show at the Electric Factory. Overall fantastic experience; cannot recommend Standard Tap enough!

Went here after the Phillies game...second visit to this taproom. It's stepping back in time to the old corner tap rooms of my dad's era. Very casual, plain wood tanbles and booths, dark wood interior. Menu is very different and very good, 2 of our party had the burgers (huge) which came with delicious fries, 2 had the chicken pot... Good spot to get a burger/fries and a beer. Delicious. It can be difficult to find parking in this area of town, but great place to go.

Saw the episode on Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives featuring this place. Was in Philly overnight and came here for an early dinner instead of doing the Philly Cheesesteak...and I'm glad I did. Their menu is unique for a bat. The chicken pie is different from any pot pie you'll ever have. Lord Chesterfield Ale, made by Yeungling is always on... More

Go for brunch early to beat the crowds, or be prepared to wait. Same for dinner, especially when it starts to warm up. It's a huge place- two floors with a bar on each floor PLUS outdoor seating upstairs!
