We came to POD to celebrate my son's birthday. He loves sushi, and we wanted to eat sushi from a conveyor belt. Instead we scored one of the three pods in the restaurant, a white banquet with white walls and lights that bathe you in different colors. It was very cool! The sushi was good- I especially recommend trying their... More

Pretty good food; they encourage you to share. Order several dishes for the entire table and taste lots of things. I always like the Shrimp Pad Thai and the serving size is good for sharing. The veggie sides are small. This place can be noisy when busy, so be prepared. The decor is "hip 60/70's". A fun place.

When a cool space is combined with tasty food that's a win/win in my book. Pod is a very large space that felt like an intimate restaurant. The dining space had a 1960's/1970's(ish) minimum "orange" look that was very cool. There were also individual dining "pods" for groups which were cool but dining out for me is about being in... I had dinner here the other night while I was passing through Philly. The food, service, and atmosphere were great!

I was craving for a chocolate Martini, soo husband and I decided to visit POD!! Glad we did!! Not my 1st time here, but every time I visit, it's always a memorable time. I enjoyed my chocolate Martini, while husband had a sweeter drink..... We shared a very tasteful chicken fried rice! (Hint: surprisingly served with cilantro on top, which... More

Very unique restaurant. Food was great with lots of choices and moderately priced. Our waiter wasn't very good but food and atmosphere made up for his lackluster performance!

In the past, this has been our "go to" restaurant when in the University City area. Not anymore. We went for dinner before a show at the World Cafe and the food was subpar. My husband has always loved the filet with mashed potatoes and they've replaced that item on the menu with NY strip steak. It's a lot cheaper,... More

Asian Fusion!! Owned by the same people who own the Continental Midtown, the decor is also retro 60's decor! I had Chicken Robata and Crab Spring Rolls, both very good. I was in a bit of a hurry, and was able to get in and out quickly!! I truly recommend it!

Went there for a birthday celebration and was one of the best choices we made. The food was awesome specially the tnt roll and the wasabi fried rice. The drinks were great, not watered down. We got to sit in one of the pods and the feeling is special. You can set the mood woth the lighting inside the pod.... More

We had dinner at POD in University City in late Oct, it was our first visit. They have a very unique layout, some tables are actually inside a pod where the customer can change the color of the lighting. It was pretty cool and the food was excellent!
