A neighborhood Italian BYOB that can either be described as cramped or cozy depending upon your mood. The food is very good and the portions are large. Two appetizers will easily feed four and if you don't want to take home leftovers, I'd suggest sharing an entree. Recommended entrees include the vegetable risotto, the spaghetti bolognese, chicken marsala and the... More

This used to be one of our favorite haunts when we lived in Philly and it did not disappoint. We came in early without a reservation and were promptly seated and greeted very kindly. The service was amazing! The food was just as good as we remembered. My lobster ravioli was so good. My husband and daughter both had very... More

Been to this place twice first time meeting a braided manager during dinner who was arrogant and rude. Smashed dishes on the table when bringing entrees and desserts, also tried to assign outside seating even tho the outside seating was meant to be first come first served. I couldnt helped noticing he tried to make us sit where only two... More

My husband and I dined at Bistro La Baia for the first (and last!) time on Saturday night. The place is very narrow and tiny, and the surly, unsmiling hostess led us to a tiny table near the entrance, close to the (open) door, in between the tables against both walls -- with very little room for our chairs. There... More

Was there tonight for my buddies wedding rehearsal dinner. First of all the service is bad and the waitstaff/owners are rude! The food is average at best. The place is so small u can't even move! I will never go back

Our waiter was excellent and even though we went during restaurant week we just had great service and what a varied choice of food on the menu. Five women were all happy with the appetizers, entrees and of course the dessert! We were so happy with the fresh, generous portions and everything came out piping hot! Do not pass this... More

This is a BYOB bistro which saves on the bill. The portions were a good size and the food was excellent. Five of us each enjoyed our meal at this family run and owned restaurant. My only complaint is the tables are very close to one another and we were seated up front near the door. We were quite cold... More

We had a nice evening here recently, pleased with byo wine and a well-prepared array of entres. We had veal and lobster ravioli, salads and dessert. The ambiance and authenticity are what we often seek but don't easily find. Recommended! Service is good and atmosphere is just right. If you are a tourist in the center of the city, buses... More

We needed a place for a Saturday night dinner that would take a reservation for 20 people. This is a BYO which required a little coordinator because of the number of people involved. The food was very good as was the service. There was no problem with us bringing a birthday cake for dessert. Looking forward to going back again

A party of 6 of us went here for dinner and really enjoyed it. The mushroom appetizer is highly suggested. They had a lamb special that night that 2 people in our party ordered and both thought it was delicious. The pasta dish I ordered was excellent as well.
