Amazing in so many ways...the food was out of this world; each course was better than the last, tasty, creative and "scrumptious" as my husband says! The soufflé for dessert was indescribable! I have no idea how chef Pierre does it. The ambiance of environment is delightful, small, seating for 20, intimate. The service was impeccable with smiles. It's a... More

My wife and I first visited Bibou several years ago based upon a stellar review in the Philadelphia Inquirer. We are out-of-town foodies who seek out the best restaurants a city can offer and Bibou remains one of our top two favorites in Philadelphia (along with Vetri). During this visit to this 18-seat gem, we were warmly welcomed by General... More

Our evening at Bibou was perfect from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent and food beyond compare. Not only did they have fresh-baked gluten-free bread, but they printed a separate menu showing the gluten-free accommodation. Each course was as delicious as it was beautiful and the staff could not have been more gracious. Thank you for making our... More

Not the first visit, but new decor and table arrangement made it better than ever. From the appetizers to the entree to the cheese plate to dessert, simply wonderful, creative, delicious food. This is an experience not just dinner. Worth every $ and then some. Felt like I was transformed back to Paris. Yes, understated elegance.... And you can bring... More

I Love Philly's food critic Craig LeBan and respect his ratings, but the night we went was not up to the standard 4 bells. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but its $100/ pp cash BYO. The first 2 courses were superb! Canapes were creative and delicious. Cheese souflee - never had a souflee like this, which made... More

I have been wanting to go to Bibou for a while now and for whatever reason, I did not get there until tonight to celebrate a special birthday for a special person but now that I have been there, I WILL BE BACK! The 7 course tasting menu we had (which changes weekly according to Chef Calmels) was phenomenal. Every... More

Chef Pierre Camels has achieved to elevate the art of dining. Bibou's understated elegance in dining is refreshing, with exquisite menus. This is no ordinary "let's go out for dinner tonight" place. Reservations are a must. The chef's tasting menu changes every week and is posted on line at the beginning of the week. Bibou is only open Wed-Sat, fixed... More

What a wonderful dining experience!! My husband took me there for a birthday celebration and I could not have asked for anything better. The restaurant is small and intimate with only 7 or so tables but you don't feel crowded and on top of everyone and each diner gets a unique experience. The service is off the charts good, every... We originally had reservations at another restaurant for Saturday night, but after hearing the forecast for the weekend scrambled to find another restaurant for Friday night. We had the good fortune to get a reservation for four at the 6 pm seating. It was to celebrate my birthday and my husband called to not only make the reservation but to... More

This meal was incredible. It was a small restaurant and a very intimate setting. The chef came over several times to explain dishes and was very kind. The services was top notch and the ingredients were too. Make a reservation and its BYOB!!
