Great food especially the Tuna sushi pizza. I know that sounds weird but we ordered multiple after trying the 1st one. The place is overly loud once it fills up and normally I don't mind that but it's another level. I would go again because the food is so good.

My family and I have wanted to dine here for a long time and it was well worth the wait. The sushi and entrees (char and tuna) were absolutely perfect and delicious. The atmosphere is classy without being pretentious and the service was impeccable.

Wonderful by all accounts: décor, ambiance, service...and, of course, the FOOD. I chose the classic chef's tasting menu which was paired with a different alcoholic beverage for each course. I was there a full 2 1/2 hours and can't say enough about the food.

Beef gyudon was amazing! I went for lunch with colleagues and we enjoyed our meals. Food was priced fairly for the great flavors and it being a "fancy" kitchen. My colleagues ordered mixed sushi and had no complaints. Don't forget to dress business casual.

Wanted a special occasion. Nice decor, service was good. Had a long wait for food. (othersd came and went while just four of us waited) , Chef sushi/sashimi combination was a big disappointment. over priced and not special. Don't buy the story the chef picks out specialties BS. It was the most unimaginative combination (e.g. plain shrimp sushi) . The... More

The first thing that strikes the diner is the decor . It's high ceilings and raised seating booths really work. Of course the food is great , with a sort of similar selection as other great modern Asian / Japanese such as Nobu or Zuma . Definitely a must in Philadelphia.

Went for our anniversary and got the $45 sushi combination to start. Consisted of one spicy tuna roll and 9 pieces of nigiri with various fish. It was really delicious with the spicy tuna in particular a standout. Then shared the large seafood toban yaki. This was an amazing dish and would recommend for any fan of seafood - prawns,... More

We decided to eat at Morimoto for our anniversary. A great decision. The ala carte menu includes hot and cold appetizers, salads, noodle dishes, entrees and sushi/sashimi. Too many good things to choose from, so we went with the chef's tasting menu. Another great decision. The meal was 8 courses: all of them were of good size, but not overwhelming.... More

We visited this restaurant as Chef Morimoto is my son's favorite Iron Chef. We started with the shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and soft shell crab sushi rolls. All of them were fresh and tasty. We then ordered the fried rainbow trout, ishi yaki bop and seafood toban yaki. All three were excellent. If you are a fan of the chef,... More

One need not have the delicious sushi when so many other choices abound. Had the lobster citrous salad, the trout, wasabi rice and cheesecake. Wonderful selection of saki. Next time will bring the fire extinguisher and have the "Hot" chocolate dessert. Food is beautifully plated and tastes as good as it looks. Brian was a super server.
