Happened to come in on a whim since we met up with a friend. Great food and sushi. Most definitely will come here again in the near future.

We went to Morimoto on a Monday night - the week after the Democratic national convention. We had a reservation booked at 7:30 PM - we arrived 15 minutes early and were told that we would not be seated until 7:30 so the staff recommended we go to the bar and get a drink and they would come get us... Went for lunch last week. Tuna roll was just average, sashimi didn't seem as fresh as I've had other place. Sushi was okay. I think Fat Salmon on Walnut St is better, and less money.

Fantastic restaurant with a trendy and modern decor. The food is absolutely delicious and the service very professional and friendly with knowledgable and highly educated staff. The food is very fresh and the standards are high. A pleasurable experience and a highly recommendable place for a top quality gastronomic experience.

I posted a question about Morimoto's fixe prix here on Tripadvisor last week. Unfortunately, no one was able to answer my question, not even the staff when I called. I dined here over the weekend had anticipated a pricey meal, but not as pricey as it turned out to be - $520 per couple, including drinks (I went with a... More

We are fans of Iron Chef And Chef Morimoto is our favorite, so when we planned a trip to Philly to see the sights, eating at Morimoto was a must! I was very pleased to see that Morimoto was an affordable option for lunch! We had sushi and I also had the pork belly ramen soup. The sushi was, or... More

Morimoto is probably one of the most decent places in Philly to have sushi, however in general its sushi it's not above average... The service is a disaster; the waiters rarely pay attention to the details and they are often impolite. The bartenders in the upper floor take way too much time to serve you. However, despite everything, Morimoto has... More

From the time you enter the level of attention you are given is the best I have ever experienced. I have been to hundreds of restaurants and this place could write the book on what a dining experience should be. The Sushi and Sashimi are crazy good. I had the chefs tasting platter, a tuna roll, and three other seasonal... More
