This is just a great little place to have a beer or a meal with friends. It has many traditional Irish dishes, like stew, Shepherds pie, Fish & Chips and even Blood Pudding. The beer selection is great too, especially if you like Irish or Belgian beers.

Wide range of beers here. It wasn't quite your typical pub, but it was very low key on a Saturday night. Nice atmosphere and well put together. Just a couple small tvs but just right.

The Bards is a nice place to have some drinks, and some dinner if you are into UK type food. I am not an expert on this type of food, but I think what they have here is pretty good. This is a pretty standard Irish bar, and is usually fairly quiet and relaxed, but can get busy at times,... More

If you're looking for a great Irish Bar with the best Guinness in town - look no further. This is the perfect place for a quiet drink with your SO, or with a group of friends. They have a great menu, a great happy hour, and a fantastic staff. It also has the look and feel of a traditional Irish... More

dark wood bar complimented by low lighting helps hide wrinkles. But lively conversation & friendly folks lighten the atmosphere . Go after theater at small local venues or stroll in Rittenhouse square. Large beer selection but the do have Irish whiskey too. Irish wake brunch is to die for. :-)

My wife and brother-in-law really enjoy this bar. This is my second time there and I love their beer selection and knowledgeable staff. If you are near Walnut street and parched, you owe it to yourself to stop in

I came in last Friday with a group of friends. The waiter eventually came over but only took one person's food order and then walked away. I'm at a loss on that one. Aside from that, the food turned out to be quite delightful and the selection of whiskey was great. The bartender was cheerful and gave me plenty of... More

I absolutely love this place! I have always come here for drinks with friends and always will. I have brought fellow Philadelphians and out-of-town guests and everyone has a great time.
