Have eaten there many times and never disappointed. Its a real true steak house. Expensive but not as expensive of some I have been too.

Stopped in mid-evening after a meeting. Starving and in need of a glass of wine. Best burger perfect medium rare. Delicious Malbec. Fun conversation with 3 bright ladies at bar. Hope to meet up with them again. Bartender a delight!

I believe that even though it's a part of a chain, and I usually avoid chain restaurants, this is the best steakhouse in the city. I've been there many times and the one time that made me a true believer was the one time that they messed up a bit. not with the food, the food is always good. I... More

Pricey but worth it ! Great service! Steak was amazing, very tender and cook to order. Wait staff is excellent and friendly. Hate that it is down town though.

While on a business trip to Philadelphia in mid July we visited the Capital Grill for dinner. The service was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I both had a filet, and they were very good. Location was great, only a 3 block walk from our hotel near the convention center.

When we arrived at the Capital Grille, I was wearing black pants and as we followed the hostess to our tabled, I commented to my other guests that I had forgotten my glasses. The hostess turned around, overhearing my comment, and asked if I would like to borrow a pair of reading glasses. Then when seated, our table had white... More

the food was very good and tasted delicious.. the tables are fairly close together and the room was very noisy. Aloud table of 6 nearby which made our table talk difficult to hear. Waitress was very nice and answered any questions. prices were on the high side a very active and usually crowded too. food is good though

We had a wonderful steak dinner here while visiting the city for a long family weekend. The steaks were well cooked and delicious. The prices here are high but I guess you expect that in a steak house mid city. It is right across from the Ritz where we stayed.

The Avenue of the Arts is the perfect avenue to dry aged steaks, too. Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Top off your fabulous meal with dreamy Chocolate Espresso Cake or Crème Brulée. Then stroll it off on your way to Kimmel Center or the theatre.
