Very accommodating to large group reservations. Servers make sure food is served hot and filets are cooked as ordered. Beautiful cocktails. Easy walk from City Hall area.

I expected more. The cocktails were watery, as if the liquor was very warm poured over melting ice. The steak was ok, did not have a good sear on it. Not nearly as good as Charlie Palmers. Prices were high for execution of food. A large, loud group, already drunk, was seated next to us in a very small room.... More

This is my first time to eat at Capital Grill. I knew it was going to be expensive, but I was afraid that it wasn't going to be worth the price. But it was! The steak was out of this world, so tender and cooked just perfectly! I am sorry I ordered mushrooms, as by themselves, I am sure that... More

I've lived in Philadelphia for roughly 15 years. Every restaurant week my girlfriend and I try to hit as many hot spots as we can. The Capital Grille was a great experience, but I wasn't overwhelmed by it. The restaurant offers a mature and traditional dining experience. They execute it very well. However, In a city with so many great... More

The Capital is an extra special treat if your looking for a consistently excellent dining experience right in the heart of all that Center City has to offer. This place offers some of best tender aged streaks available. The service is outstanding and you will feel that the entire place is yours. Highly recommended by me when I really want... More

The whole experience was fine dining at its best. The wait staff was impeccable as usual. The food was very good to excellent. The pricing was a little high by about 15%. Doesn't sound like a lot but when the bill is $1220 it starts to add up. Pretty much on target for NYC but not Philly IMHO. The sides... More

Less than I expected. Food standard and not really great. Service fine but seating slow. Had hamburg overdone and expensive drink. Not what you'd expect for the money.

The Avenue of the Arts is the perfect avenue to dry aged steaks, too. Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Top off your fabulous meal with dreamy Chocolate Espresso Cake or Crème Brulée. Then stroll it off on your way to Kimmel Center or the theatre.
