My wife and I were in town for a little getaway and to celebrate our Birthdays...Our first stop was Alma de Cuba. WOW. From start to finish, we were amazed...not only by the service and ambiance but the food as well! We started with the Ceviche Trio and we were blown away by the presentation and the flavors! "Some" restaurants... More

This has been one of favorite restaurant to go when we are back in Philadelphia, the staff is great and the place is quite romantic for a nice dinner with your love one. The food is delicious and authentic, the flavoring is nothing like no other. The location is great if you stay in center city, if not there is... More

Week night dinner after work with family: black bean soup, Ceviche trio, verde empanadas, beef empanadas, bronzino, and lechon asada. Great mojitos, good sangria. Kids liked Cuban punch. Excellent service

My husband treated me to dinner at Alma de Cuba for my birthday. The service was amazing and the food was spectacular. The atmosphere was both warm and upscale. We had the appetizer trio and loved the fig selection the most, although all samples were tasty. My husband had the duck and I had the seafood paella as entree selections.... More

We dine here every time we are in town and always sit at the great bar, however this time we chose to sit....what a mistake. Our server, according to receipt, luba, was demeaning and disrespectful to us. We couldn't remember something we had before and she pretty much admonished us for our mistake but didn't try and help us figure... More

I chose Alma de Cuba to visit with a couple of colleagues, and it was a great pick. The atmosphere and the service were some of the best I have experienced. The food was very good, too, and the drinks menu is well put together. It's at the high end of a business dinner budget, but it's certainly not extortionate.

Our hostess was very polite and explained where necessities were located and how to order since this was our first visit. Our waiter helped me select a great meal to accommodate my dietary restrictions and was sincerely concerned about not ordering anything problematic. I recommend the lobster empanadas, vaca fritas, white corn gnocchi, chivo al vino and chocolate cigar with... More

We enjoyed the beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food at Alma de Cuba. They have a "Cuban" style gnocchi on the menu that is fantastic. We also enjoyed the vegetarian empanadas. Their side dishes, especially the smoked carrot puree, were excellent.
