This is a quirky little place that locals know. You walk in to rustic tables and chairs, a chalk board menu, order at the counter and pick up when your name is called. What can I say! A great selection of seafood, rolls, chowders and the like, all prepared to order and FRESH! I had a lobster roll that rivaled... More

After a quick discussion about what to order with cashier I was helpfully guided to order crab which--sorry i don't remember all the details--but she explained was more substantial because of where it was sourced. I took her advice and thought the crab roll (over lobster) and it was indeed fresh and delicious.

Luke's Lobster is simply delicious. Stopped in for the first time last Saturday and shared a lobster roll and a cup of Clam Chowder with my husband - absolutely awesome. We had seafood at two other locations while in Philly for the weekend and Luke's was definitely the best we had - super fresh, sustainable & traceable (which I thought... More

Down a short flight of steps on busy 17th Street this place imports all their menu items direct from MAINE. Lobster, shrimp and Crab are excellent. They have great Clam chowder also

Absolutely fabulous and fresh taste. All in a tasty light roll, slightly buttered and great for a quick meal. Everything is prepared freshly. The shrimp, lobster and crap meat tastes excellent. There is a combo of all three in their Taste of Maine menu. I came here 3 times within one week, that's how good it is.

This was a tasty surprise. We ordered the platter for two that each of us got - a drink, chips, a shrimp, a crab & a lobster dish and two crab claws. The seafood was served on toasted garlic butter rolls everything was seasoned well. I recommend starting with the shrimp and working your way around. My favorite actually was... More

A friend and I got NOAH's ARK. He loved the lobster roll and I loved the crab roll. The shrimp roll was quite delicious as well. Skip the coleslaw and get the chips. A lovely local dive sustaining local fisherman. Love it.

We stopped into Luke's Lobster for lunch and loved the set-up and feel of the place. The lobster was excellent, but be prepared to spend about $20 for a hot dog size roll and a drink. It would be ideal to throw some chips or slaw on the plate, but we understand that it is Lobster!

Very expensive, we were disappointed in the bland rolls. Nothing like we have had in Boston. But, the super tasty sodas made in Portland, Maine were great.
