About
Sláinte (slawn-cha), Gaelic for cheers, is the newest Irish Pub & Restaurant in Philadelphia! We opened our doors in October 2007 and are serving the best American and Irish foods Philadelphia has to offer! From Philly Cheese Steak Egg rolls, Turkey Burgers & Big Green Salads to our freshly beer battered Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie & Banger and Mash. Sláinte's extensive menu has something to please every palate! Sláinte is an authentic modern Irish Pub with arched ceilings and gorgeous wood furnishings all built in Waterford, Ireland. The bar at Sláinte is the place to be, with plenty of seats as well as twenty-five beers on draft and five high definition televisions. Stop in, grab a drink

Slainte remains a fine place to dine while waiting for your train to arrive across the street at the revitalized 30th Street Station complex in Philadelphia. Service is still good. Pub food is excellent from burgers to fries to more Irish influenced fare like fish...More

Located next to the Railway station. They offer a wide range of beers and serve several typical Irish dishes. Friendly and professional service!

I ate here twice on a recent business trip to Philly; mainly as it was close to my accommodation. Food was OK for pub grub but could have been better. The highlight was the jacket potato and bacon soup which was very good (had it...More

I had lunch with some people from the TripAdvisor Philadelphia Forum as a get together. Everyone enjoyed the food (fish and chips were phenomenal and the sandwiches were great) and the beer selection for Irish brews was outstanding. The interior was nicely decorated with the...More

Ran in after work. Made it for happy hour. We had the salmon salad, shepherds pie and fish and chips. Delish! Great portion sizes, attentive wait staff.

It is a pub! The food is GREAT, the Atmosphere is raucous, but very fun. Located right across from the 30th Street Station. I'd put this as the NUMBER thing to do in this area, or if have time to kill before your transportation connection....More

This is not our first time at Slainte. Located directly across from 30th Street Station and University City, we go often because our son attends Drexel University. Every time we go and everything we order is excellent. On our most recent visit, as I was...More

This is not the place to go to converse. The TV was turned up to an unreasonable volume. Beer and service were good.

This place was great. It’s close to the metro and the Megabus stop so it’s a very convenient place to wait. Food was great and the bar tender was very friendly and attentive. It’s a typical Irish pub but one I’d certainly visit again.

There’s no private room but the restaurant is deep enough to accommodate a moderate size party (25-40).
