At 9:30pm on a Friday, I stumbled across this place looking for somewhere to eat that was still open and was instantly grateful that this place opens until 10pm. Hearty ramen, a nice variety of flavours and lovely staff. If I'm in the area again I will definitely make a return trip.

It's an OK place. Definitely not survive in Japan (and maybe not in NY), but OK for Philly, especially near Rittenhouse. This is basically the only decent noodle option in the Rittenhouse area, which is a plus. The soup and the noodle are both so-so, nothing exciting but nothing to complain too much about but nothing to get excited about... More

I have been eating lunches here for several years. The ramen is fantastic and has historically been among the best in the city. However, recently they have gone in the wrong direction on prices and quality: First, they raised prices, both in dollar terms AND they decided to add on tax (8%) instead of building it into the prices as... Tried Karai ramen with egg. Soup was bit too salty and was not as hot as I expected. Noodle was nothing extra ordinary. One thing to take note will be the pork. It was good

I've been coming here since this place opened. Nom N is the best ramen place in Philadelphia. I've tried a few and still end up back here. I suggest the Karai which is a spicy miso broth, extra spicy. YES. Order it with extra spice. Great for winter. Cash only or level up.

Very good, I had never had ramen and really enjoyed this. The broth, flavorful, fresh ingredients, hot, delicious. Generous portions. Cash only.

I have a medium bowl of shoyu noodles. Taste great, soft whole eggs, 2 slices of melt in your mouth pork meat and lots of noodles. The taste is very close to the one in Japan. The reason I gave 4 star is because they only take cash.

If you like ramen this is the best place to go in the downtown core. Lots if different ramen flavors. Great for a cold day. If you go for lunch and want to eat in get there a bit early as the tables fill up fast. This is cash only so don't forget to bring some bills.

The place was clean, the food was brilliant, the price was low. Choice is very limited but that is the nature of a Ramen bar. Also, be warned, cash only. Recommended for a no nonsense good value lunch.

While working in the area I ended up eating here three time within a week. The Karai miso broth is great, not too spiced but will bring out some sweat. Not only do I recommend the pork, it is so tasty and tender or double pork and past in the flavor.
