Located in the train station, we called in while waiting for our train to turn up. I went for a local ale which was nice, there were loads to choose from and for a small bar it was quite impressive. I’d recommend a visit

This tavern can get dicey as people nervously waiting for friends to arrive on trains at 30th Street Station try to slug down one last drink or munch on a burger. Even dicier when the friend on the train is arriving hungry, but has little...More

Stopped here by chance on a recent layover at 30th Street Station as I didn’t relish the predominantly fast food alternatives. We were pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed our dinner. Table service wasn’t the most attentive (had to get my own straw and sugar...More

We had a very pleasant dinner while waiting for rush hour traffic to clear before heading out in our rental car. (BTW our rental was 20% cheaper here than it would have been at the airport.) We had an appetizer of the week, Caesar salad,...More

We were at 30th Street Station and had an hour to eat and get into center city on a rainy Friday. Eat at the station or try downtown? We figured there was fast food, at least, at the station, but ran right into Bridgewater's Pub....More

A vintage atmosphere pervades this station eatery. The food and service are great and there's really nothing to complain about. It seems to be the only sitdown option in the station.

Waiting for any Amtrak train can be, well, not the most worthwhile use of one’s time. Brigewater’s Pub in Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station transforms a wait into a delight. Their martinis are simply amazing. I prefer the traditional vodka and olives. There selection of German...More

Found this while we were showing our son how to pick up Amtrak. Located in SW corner of station. Nice little pub where you can grab a drink and a burger or sandwich before or after getting a train.

While waiting for my train back I stopped over here. The place is packed with people, lots of small and good bar food to eat. I got their burger and is it filling. They have a nice selection of tap beer from all over -...More
