Read the menu entirely. I thought it was just eggs but no! (Eggs feature prominently in their offerings, but there are salads and chicken sandwiches as well.) Chicken and Waffle sandwich was A+! The chicken sandwich was a 4/5, and nuggets were 3.7/5. The fries were excellent 5/5- “would just stop by just to get fries” according to my daughter. Fast and hot food, nice staff. I would have given them a 5/5 if they had fountain drinks. Cans and bottles only.

Ordered online and just before arriving I received an email saying the order was ready, it was the start of a great day.
As I turned to go in and the restaurant had all its lights off. Stepped back to check the place was the correct place, it was. Pulled the door and it opened. Picked up my order and headed back to the hotel to enjoy.
I arrived back at the hotel, my mouth salivating from the smells that teased it all the way back. I rip open the sack in anticipation, giving my wife her sandwich (I opted for a bowl in lieu of a bun). I take my feast, set my place, and prepare to eat. I freeze in horror, they included no flatware in the sealed to go package. I watch my wife eat as I drool.
I search the hotel room for anything I could use. I tried in vain to use two coffee stirrers as little chopsticks. Nothing managed to make it to my mouth. In final despair I eat as the cavemen from far back in my lineage did.
Satisfied, maybe.

I've ordered a few times thru a delivery service..and im most impressed with the sandwiches ..the chicken tastes awesome..nicely flavors i did NOT find it oily greasy in least as someone commented, i like how in delivery they put the side sauce (yum) i do see other options as to sauce but this did not show on Delivery!! and coleslaw on side great crunchy & nice spice to it... i do knot know about the service i've yet to go in but boy they are on a good start.. the fries are nicely made and the tots are great too but they are little cheap on number they give u.. at least as a delivery. I do want to revisit my review.. once i try other things.. i think more options are if u walk in.. i have a sister works close by so a pick up with more things to try is in the future..But honestly I'm lovin it as the best new chicken place of the few i've tried opened past year or so..that weren't all that impressive.. its a winner chicken dinner..

What a unique place to get your grub on.
A great sandwich shop with very interesting items.
Great breakfast sandwiches and bowls.
Was very surprised at the offerings.
Loved the coop sandwich.
Wished it opened earlier but right next to the hotel.

I was hankering for something to fill the gap before going out for dinner and the chicken sandwich just hit the spot nicely. I got it spicy with slaw on a brioche bun so I'd call this a burger really. The service was very pleasant and they delivered to my table. Hubby go some popcorn chicken but it was a little overdone but he liked it. Reasonable price too.

Mostly sandwich combinations. Fried chicken and stuff. Nothing stood out. If you are in mood for a fried, greasy sandwich, it a decent option. they should add grilled options!!

Too bad we never got to try the food because - even though we were the only customers - everyone (at least 4 servers) behind the counter was too busy yukking it up with each other, while using offensive language. Since on one seemed to be aware or care we were there & the music was much too loud, we went instead across the street to DD for the usual satisfying egg sandwiches, great coffee & quick service.

Jakes has pleasant offerings. The menu does change from time to time, but the brisket and pork remain the same. Just a suggestion, tell them to make sure they trim the brisket before loading it on your sandwich.

Serving egg sandwiches and chicken sandwiches - breakfast sammies all day long, if you want - Jake's is now Hatch & Coop. Ate lunch here with my sister a couple of weeks ago; had a chicken sandwich that was truly delicious, but the best part of my lunch was the fried pickles !!! Done to perfection, and fabulous house sauce to go with. Prices are great - you won't regret stopping here for locally sourced great food!

Even the vegetarians in our group had choices. I opted for a genuine Philly cheesesteak and was not disappointed. This places an icon and well worth the distinction.

We saw this on man verses food and had to try it. Jakes Mensch is awesome, brisket has a ton of flavor and the horseradish sauce is amazing. The 50/50 is a meat lovers dream. Also had to try the Barnyard, what can I say? Wow, service was great, people are friendly, everyone is greeted before the door closes. Our new place for pulled pork and brisket. Awesome job by everyone.

Of course I had to get the 50/50. 50 percent roasted pork 50 percent bacon. Smothered in provolone and sriracha spread. Sriracha is a bit hipster. But sounded tasty. We also got an cheesesteak. How could you not when in philly.
Fried pickles and fries.
The place is quiet on the weekend.
The verdict. The cheesesteak was a good swap on the usual. Brisket was extra tender. Onions were a little bland but caramelized in color.
Fried pickles and fries. Hot crispy crunchy deliciousness. The dipping sauce was a cream sriracha.
And the 50/50. The pork was juicy and tender. The bacon was crispy but needed to be a bit saltier. The provolone was sharp and tasty. The roll was soft and chewy great to suck up the meat juices. Sriracha added a little zip. I would definitely eat it again.
Side note go on a sunday and find street parking.
