I had narrowed it down between this and Tinto for tapas and was also considering the possibility of Mixto. It's small and tough to get a reservation, the menu is not quite as eclectic... More

I came here with some friends while in downtown Philadelphia. We were really impressed by the quality and variety of tapas and small plate options. We tried 8 different items and each item was great. The meatballs were stellar. We also found the service to be great throughout the meal and they even let us hang out after closing to... More

Jamonera is fantastic tapas restaurant in the City Hall section of Philadelphia. Service was great, and our server was terrific. We ordered 7 plates for our table, and every single dish was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is tremendous. The inside is quite small, but they more than make up for it with great service, and outstanding food! Would... More

It was all good, each of the 9 plates we ordered...nary a misfire. Magnificent! Don't miss the house-made maraschino cherries.

Arrived earlier than reservation, seated immediately. Service awesome, waiter professional and made good suggestions, nice vibe! Enjoyed a nice cocktail selection, each dish better than the previous! Papa Fritas were small plates, crispy which came with a homemade sherry-vinegar hot sauce - simply delicious! Berenjenas crispy Eggplant Fries; light, unique with a combo of the truffle honey & zamarano cheese...whoa... More

ErinFADS: This delightful find located just south of City Hall scored an excellent 19.2 out of a possible 20.0 points on the ErinFADS scale. It is highly recommended. FOOD: 5.0/5.0 -- We were looking for culinary brilliance, and we found something quite close at Jamonera. The offerings are sized appropriately, but conducive to sharing; we took full advantage with five... More
